We stayed with Giorgos and his family for two nights and rarely have we had nicer hosts. We felt very welcome, learned a lot about the island and its people, got great tips for things to do in the area, and could not only hear the sea from our room, but also watch it as it lapped against the shore. Wonderful.
The internet could be a little more stable, but that's really just nitpicking.

Akrogiali is ideal if you’re looking for quiet comfort — a peaceful pebbly beach, wide open sea views, and warm, thought
We had a great holiday and completely fell in love with Akrogiali. Everything was just right — the clean room, the super comfy bed, and the incredible view. The beach is only steps away and stretches out in a peaceful 180-degree curve — perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. The food in the taverna downstairs was fresh, local, and served on a beautiful sea-view terrace covered in a green shade.
This is probably one of the quieter, calmer parts of Samothraki, south-facing, with the mountains behind you and the sea right in front. It’s a great base to explore the island from, or you can just stay put and not move — just pop down to the taverna or to the beach. There’s a really relaxed, welcoming feel to the whole place. Giorgos and Pelagia are super hospitable and clearly love what they do — they’re kind, thoughtful, and take great care of everything. They’re always around if you need anything - just talk to them. Giorgos even took us out in his fishing boat to see places on the island we’d never have discovered on our own. It just all adds to the sense that you’re somewhere special.

Best “base camp” on Samothraki
Nice location directly at the beautiful south coast of Samothraki and a very good fish tavern (locals saying it is the best fish restaurant in the island) is downstairs.
A quiet place.. The room has a very comfortable bed/mattress and clean bathroom.
Integrated moskito nets in the windows…☝️, air-conditioning, nice balcony.
The nicest beach of the island, Pachia Ammos, is only 20 car min away and the best “goat barbecue” and “sundowner” restaurant named “Paradisos” is also only 20 min away ☺️.
The biggest point is Giorgios the landlord. A very attentive person with a big ❤️!!!

A cozy, pristine, secluded getaway hosted by genuinely kind owners.
We had a wonderful, relaxing time here during 2 weeks at the end of March. The genuine kindness and hospitality of Giorgos and his wife is remarkable; they treated us like family. If you want to escape the tourist crowds and if you're looking for a cozy, pristine, secluded spot - this is the place to be. Three apartments face the glorious ocean. You can sit on your balcony and do nothing, or read a book, or savor a Mamos beer while watching the glittering waters. All you hear is the sound of soothing waves, occasionally interrupted by a rooster's crowing. For fresh seafood, try the yellowtail amberjack in the tavern downstairs, which is run by the calm and gentle Manolis. For groceries, drive 10 min to Kamariotissa, Samothraki's main hub and port town. We will be back!

A hidden paradise on the Samothraki island!
The rooms are just a couple, but they are more than enough to keep the comfort and the romantic atmosphere. Great views to the sea just in front of the hotel and amazing sunsets! Clean rooms, comfortable beds and another great asset is the tavern, where they make some kind of a magic with the food, an explosion of tastes with fresh vegetables and fish. They give you the true taste of Greece!
.. and the service is great, you can with no effort order also on English, Romanian, Bulgarian and probably more. Those guys know their job!
The owner is very hospitable and will help you with almost any request you may have!
I highly recommend to experience Akrogiali Rooms yourself and we may see each other, cause we will be back to that place!
The only thing, which is not a problem of the property is the beach is not sandy, but rocky. However the water is clear and clean and probably the reason for being a bit more quiet from tourists

Georgei is an exceptionally friendlly and helpful host who has a keen interest in his island. His knowledge of the flora and fauna also good. The rooms are immaculate with sea views and it's peaceful and tranquil at night with no car traffic. There are no parties so a good sleep in a comfortable bed is assured!

Most I liked the position near the sea and the garden surrounding the house. I liked also the quiet, but we were there out of season 😃. Downstairs the room is a Taverna , in the season you can searve fresh fish and other goodies.
The room is nice, simple and comfortable. The balcony with sea view, smell and hear is pure gold 😀.
Also the owner is very nice and helpful. I will be back for sure 😊

Всичко беше супер. Нагласено и подредено с много любов. А домакина Йоргос беше на разположение за всичко. Тръгнахме за почивка на непознато място, а се връщаме с ново приятелство в лицето на Йоргос. Akrogiali определено е най-добрата таверна не само в района, но и на целия остров. Прясна риба, морски деликатеси и салати, подготвени с професионализъм и любов. Ако искате да отседнете на остров Самотраки, това в мястото. Близо до всичко. Горещо препоръчвам, а ние ще се върнем пак отново!

Benché solo per una notte abbiamo goduto a pieno del Samotraki Akrogiali rooms, camera con balconcino vista mare e vista alberi, dotata di tutti i comfort, personale gentile e accogliente. Consiglio senza dubbio!!

Ospitalitate
Am închiriat o camera pentru cinci nopți. Aceasta a avut vedere la mare, balcon, baie încăpătoare, pat dublu, aer condiționat. Camera este dotată cu: televizor cu cablu, frigider cu mic congelator, cana de fiert apa, fier de calcat, tacâmuri, pahare, consumabile de baie. Dulapurile și noptiera aveau destule sertare. In fiecare zi, doamna Pelagia, soția proprietarului, a făcut curat. Așternuturile au fost schimbate o data. La venire, am găsit apa și bere in frigider, dar și plicuri de cafea solubila și zahăr.
In camera tinde să se facă destul de cald, dar ruloul metalic și aerul condiționat fac atmosfera acceptabilă.
Domnul Giorgos, proprietarul, are mare experiență în relația cu oamenii, dar și un caracter rar. A fost mereu atent la nevoile noastre, ba chiar ne-a luat cu dânsul la pescuit, conversația de pe barcă, la apusul soarelui, devenind o amintire profundă.
Restaurantul Akrogiali, afacere de familie, ne-a completat vacanța cu preparate gustoase și amabilitatea personalului. În cameră, discuția, muzica și mirosurile de mâncare de pe terasă au fost aproape insesizabile, oricum, de la 23.30, restaurantul se închide, iar muzica nu este niciodată prea tare.
Impresiile sunt subiective, dar noi ne-am simțit foarte bine. Acum doi ani am stat in nordul insulei, acum ne-am completat experiența.

Το κατάλυμα βρισκόταν σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία,ήταν πολύ ήσυχα και από κάτω υπάρχει ταβέρνα και είναι από τις καλύτερες στο νησί,ειδικά για φρέσκο ψαράκι! Το δωμάτιο ήταν καθαρό , κ είχε ωραιο κρεβάτι. Οι ιδιοκτήτες κ το προσωπικό πολύ εξυπηρετικοι και ευγενικοί.
Στο μπαλκόνι θα ήθελα να υπήρχε ένα σχοινί η μια μια απλώστρα για τις πετσέτες και τα μαγιό.Στο δωμάτιο επειδή είχαμε βάλει ένα ράντζο για το παιδί είχαμε στριμώχθει αρκετά. Για δίκλινο όμως είναι μια χαρά!

Отличное место с островными вайбами
Это место проживания подойдет не всем - смотрите расположение внимательно. Собственный пляж здесь отлично устраивал нас с женой, но по сути он не оборудован ничем, кроме десятка зонтиков, и еще там бульдозером разровняли камни, чтобы была ровная площадка. Но это место прям отлично передает островные вайбы, а это то, за чем мы сюда собственно и ехали.
Под комнатами расположена рыбная таверна. По отзывам других посетителей, лучшая на острове. Рыбу действительно делают превосходно. Не-рыбу - так себе, так что - ешьте лучше рыбу :). Мы ели в еще одной таверне, и там рыба была вкусная, но хуже приготовлена.
Недалеко находится, наверное, самый удачный пляж на острове, с точки зрения пляжного отдыха. Ехать на машине - минут 15.

Истински релакс на брега на морето с вълшебна гледка. Хубава градина и рибен ресторант с вкусна храна. Хотелът е над ресторанта, много чисто, оборудвано с всичко необходимо /включително кафе/. Всички стаи са с балкон /някои стаи са с изглед към морето/. Удобни легла, бърз Интернет. Нямаме никакви забележки. Собствениците Пелагия и Йоргос са супер, много мили и гостоприемни. Специални благодарности на Йоргос, който покани съпруга ми на риболов с лодката му! Изкарахме си страхотно. Всички препоръки за мястото /и хотела и ресторанта/. Благодарим ви от сърце!
True relaxation on the seashore with a magical view. Nice garden and fish restaurant with delicious food. The hotel is above the restaurant, very clean, equipped with everything you need /including coffee/. All rooms have a balcony /some rooms have a sea view/. Comfortable beds, fast Internet. We have no complaints. The owners Pelagia and Yorgos are great, very kind and hospitable. Special thanks to Yorgos, who invited my husband fishing with his boat! We had a great time. All recommendations for the place /both the hotel and the restaurant/. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Всичко!!! Тъй като нашето пътуване беше романтично бягство, това, че беше сравнително отдалечено от центъра на градчето е предимство. Стаята не е много голяма, но има всичко необходимо. Чисто е, матраците са много удобни, гледката от терасата - неповторима! Под стаите има таверна с прекрасна тераса и изцяло морска храна, която беше страхотно предимство ако не искаш да ползваш автомобил. Храната и обслужването са безупречни.Раздаваме се, че посетихме мястото през месец Май, за да се насладим на спокойствието преди сезона!
