Samothraki Village Hotel

Our experience at Samothraki Village Hotel was simply spectacular. From the very first moment, the service was warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making us feel completely at home. The team truly goes above and beyond, and that makes all the difference. The breakfast, although not included, is absolutely worth it. I highly recommend adding it and enjoying it at the hotel — it’s incredible, with great quality products, variety, and a setting that makes your morning feel special. We only stayed for one day, but it definitely wasn’t enough. We already know we’ll be back to the island, and without a doubt, we’ll stay here again.

If I had to mention something to improve, I’d say the windows could be better adapted — the curtains are quite translucent, so the room gets bright quite early (around 7am). Also, the hot water wasn’t as hot as expected. That said, these are just small details in an otherwise fantastic stay.

Warm room, hot water, comfy bed, clean facilities, nice location, nice views, nice staff. Good amount of sockets and lighting in room. Good bathroom.

We were told that housekeeping would be every other day but in the 8 days we were there this only happened twice. The shower hose was broken and cut me at least twice. The pink rugs were quite filthy. Sound proofing was awful. Upstairs seemed to be moving furniture around every morning and to our left we could hear their TV in the evenings. Lots of facilities that were mentioned in the description are actually not available this time of year such as the pool, sauna, lunch and dinner. Probably the worst thing of all was how high the toilet is. It's very hard to poo in this position!
