Ballybur Lodge Mews 2

Staying at Ballybur felt like stepping onto the set of a Nancy Meyers movie! Every detail was absolutely impeccable—beautiful, cozy, thoughtfully designed, and effortlessly charming. It was one of those places that feels just as special as it looks. We absolutely loved our stay!

Absolutely nothing!

We had a nice stay at Ballybur Lodge Mews. The key collection process was very easy and hassle-free. Although the lodge is located near a main road, it was surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Our host, Mel, provided clear and helpful instructions before arrival, which made everything straightforward. We enjoyed the terrace, which was a great place to relax and eat outside. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals during our stay. Overall, Ballybur Lodge Mews was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and we would happily recommend it to others visiting the area.

The house is well equipped with nice touches like coffee pods, bottle of sparkly and basically everything you'd need for self-catering accommodation. Beds are nice and comfortable. It's a cosy little house.

We found it quite dusty, with cobwebs on the ceiling, dust around the place, and under the bed, for example. The major issue we had was that you have to let the 'hot' water run for approx 5 minutes before it gets hot. We found this heart breaking to do due to the huge water wastage involved. Not only this, but it wasn't clear what tap/side of the tap was hot or cold, so we had to run each for a long time before finding the hot water.
