Lovely relaxing weekend in beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend.

The location is beautiful and the caravan lovely, right by the lake. Lovely walks with the dog. The owner was easily contacted and she responded promptly and helped resolved any difficulties promptly.

We arrived around 8pm after a long drive and when we arrived the caravan was cold as the heating was not on. However once it was on it soon warmed up.

Location is fantastic, loved the fact it feels isolated. Cleanliness was good considering pet friendly,On site bar was great Would stay again!

2 night break in beautiful caravan

Caravan was well equiped very clean and cost. Amazing location. Only stayed 2 nights wish it was longer.

We had not hit water or heating but a genuine reason for this and the owners were in touch every time I messaged and helped as bet as they could. No issues really for us has electric fire kept us warm enough. Other then that there is no issues or problems or won't stop me booking again

Beautiful caravan

The park is lovely, clean and dog friendly, stunning views. The caravan is beautiful and has everything you need to make it a perfect holiday. Well equipped with towels, bedding, blankets, kitchen utensils, air fryer, cleaning products, etc. I was over the moon that there was an alexa and Sky tv. The bed was really comfortable The outside veranda was also well equipped with seats and a table Our pooch also loved it here, lots of, gorgeous views, and walks nearby. The sky bar was lovely, dog friendly, and friendly staff. The food looked good, and the prices were great, £9 for 2 pints. Had a fantastic weekend away. Thank you

The local town is a bit grubby and run down, and there is nothing much to do there, but the caravan park is a great base to venture further afield Just 2 small niggles which wont stop me from rebooking but I was constantly sweeping up, a hoover would be beneficial. There were a few crumbs around the caravan when we arrived, which I had to clean up The tv in the bedroom doesn't work, the dvd part doesn't work, and when we tried to connect you tube, it connected but wouldn't play anything.

Most enjoyable stay

The caravan was excellent, very clean, tidy and had everything, like home from home. In a great location, quiet, peaceful, some great walks and a stones throw from the ski bar. Excellent towels, lovely bed linen and comfy pillows. All kitchen appliances easy to use, well equipped and my husband was pleased it had sky tv. Enjoyed sitting on the verander, watching and listening to the birds, the fantastic weather helped too. Everyone at Port Haverigg was really friendly, will definitely be back

Not keen on the bench seating in kitchen not comfortable, but that's just our opinion. The covers on the lounge settee and chair kept popping off all the time, forever putting covers back on.

A nice 4 day break with lovely walks in the immediate vicinity.

A nice clean property, well laid out with everything needed for our 4 night stay.

The only drawback were the seat covers which we found hard to keep on the seats.

A peaceful haven of great comfort

It was very comfortable inside the caravan, it was overlooking the lake and Haverigg beach was just a short walk away. There was a restaurant within 2 mins away.

lovely part of the world, on the beach and the caravan is right next to the lake. it is perfect for beautiful walks, beach days and just unwinding on the balcony. we have been coming here over 20 years to the site, the caravan is super comfy and really modern and clean. we will be back. thank you for letting us visit x

Simply the best lakeside caravan with a wonderful view

The host is very attentive from the get go. Great communication from the start. The caravan is absolutely spotless, with everything you need, from extra towels and bedding ect. Even though we took our own toiletries and food essentials. The host is thoughtful enough to have these small items at the caravan - salt, pepper, vinegar, coffee pods and plenty of cleaning products. The kitchen is well stocked with great quality utensils for cooking. The living room has a great selection of board games and fidget toys (My autistic son loved them) ☺️ Dvds ect... I can't fault the place it's set in a very tranquil place, and the neighbour across the way was really friendly also. Close to beaches and beautiful scenic walks. Lots of beautiful villages nearby also I could write so much more about this place but I'm getting carried away now. If you stay here you'll absolutely love it I'm sure We absolutely loved our stay here and we'd most definitely come back.

We have just returned from staying for 5 nights over Christmas. The caravan is spotless, there was even a little Christmas tree and a couple of decorations which made it so homely. I am a clean freak and took all my cleaning products but didn't use any of them as they were all provided in the caravan. The view looking onto the lake is lovely too. I would highly recommend this caravan.

Lovely homely caravan, extremely clean and comfortable. We weren't planning on spending much time inside on this trip but ended up spending a lovely sunny afternoon watching a film in the bright living room as the caravan was so nice. Its also in a lovely location with view of the water, and a 2 minute walk to the ski bar (who do great food and drinks) and water sports. This will definitely be our first choice for accommodation the next time we visit Millom/Haverigg.

The mattress and pillows were a little too firm for us (although the linen was lovely and I still slept well)

We loved everything - the location at the side of the lake was just beautiful and tranquil. The grounds were clean, tidy and well kept. The property was modern , airy, clean and well maintained and had everything and more that you needed.
