Great location in Monterosso, short walk from the train station, and near the free and paid beaches in front of Il Gigante. Clean and pretty spacious apartment too. The sunny terraces were very nice, especially for drying the clothes from the washing machine.

The air conditioning, hot water heater, and refrigerator are on the same circuit which would trip if all three were running at the same time. We solved it by only having the AC on with hot water heater off, or vice versa.

The apartment is very comfortable and in a great location near the beach and restaurants. The terrace was beautiful, with table, chairs, plants, flowers. The neighborhood is quiet at night. The apartment is on the fourth floor, but the stairs are wide and easily climbed. The host was responsive via whatsapp and booking.com messaging. We’d stay again.

The property was overpriced but it looks like a quite common issue for Monterosso accomodation. The main issues were the lack of service and ignoring my request of an accommodation invoice to be sent. In the first day, I reported a leaking air-conditioner in the main bedroom but the issue hasn't been fixed during my stay (5 days). I was lucky that the weather was not too hot (I am afraid to imagine guest feelings if the outside temperature would be closer to +40C - it happens quite often during summer months in this part of Italy) , but I definitely wasn't happy as it was really inconvenient. The host also gave me a false promise to send an invoice but he did not follow and used to ignore all my reminders later. Taking into accounts that I have to claim my expenses this is a serious issue and also an indication that the property management does not follow the financial commitments. Overall, I definitely DO NOT recommend this place if you hate dealing with bad service and need a proper financial invoice to be provided for your accommodation.
