Sunny modern Apartment Perfect located

This apartment has been recently renovated to a very high standard. The apartment is large for two people, with a well-equipped kitchen and a great bathroom. The air conditioning is very effective, keeping the apartment at a comfortable temperature. The apartment is well located, close to the beach and the beautiful old town of Estepona.

Two things to be aware of: 1. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. 2. There is an immense construction right in the street directly in front of the apartment. The owner let us know about this in advance of our stay. It also makes it more difficult to reach the apartment from the parking station.

Die Lage des Apartments generell war top. Sehr nahe waren sowohl die Strandpromenade als auch die Altstadt von Estepona, so dass eine Menge Restaurants oder Frühstückscafes zur Verfügung stehen. Alles wichtige war fußläufig erreichbar und eine sehr preiswerte Tiefgarage war sehr nah verfügbar (zu Fuß ca. 5min). Wir haben Estepona auch als Ausgangspunkt für einen Tagesausflug nach Ronda genutzt, was in ca. 1 Stunde mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. Ausstattung der Wohnung war top. Design eher modern und clean. Alles (Küche, Bad, etc...) in sehr gutem Zustand.

War zwar vom Vermieter schon vorab bei der Buchungsanfrage klar kommuniziert, aber trotzdem liegt im Moment die Wohnung an einer Großbaustelle, da an der Straße, an der die Wohnung liegt, bis Ende 2026 oder Anfang 2027 eine Tiefgarage und die Zufahrten dazu errichtet werden. Dadurch war tagsüber immer mit Baulärm und vor allem Staub zu rechnen. Es war auch keine Zufahrt zur Wohnung möglich. Wie gesagt, war uns das aber bereits vorher klar und umfangreich mitgeteilt worden. Da wir eigentlich nur dort übernachtet haben, hat uns das nicht wesentlich gestört.

Location and quality of accommodation

There is construction next to it, we were fully made aware before booking. So knew the challenges.

The apartment was lovely but the major construction works outside were intolerable and the host didn't advise us about these. We had to cancel our stay and go elsewhere and the overall experience spoilt our holiday. The construction works will continue for some time to come so people need to bear this in mind before booking.
