The apartment is approximately 60 square meters; it is very bright and in a quiet location, with a large living/dining area and a kitchenette. The well-equipped kitchen features an oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, small microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The two bedrooms are furnished with a double bed and two single beds, respectively. The windows are equipped with fly screens. The living/dining area features a 40-inch Sony flat-screen TV (mounted on the wall) with satellite TV, radio, and a DVD player. The apartment has a terrace measuring approximately 30 square meters, which is mostly sheltered from the wind. Adjacent to the terrace is the garden, offering a view of the Meede and, in good weather, a distant view as far as Pilsum or Greetsiel. Garden furniture is available in the storage shed in the garden. You can also store your own bicycles in the shed. The apartment is ideal for couples, families with up to 2 children, or up to 4 adults.



Krummhörn is located in East Frisia, northwest of Emden and southwest of Norden. The most well-known town in Krummhörn is Greetsiel.
The vacation apartments are privately owned and located in the small, quiet, rural village of Visquard. Suitable for active travelers, those seeking peace and quiet, and families with children.
Right next to the house is a small, fenced-in playground and a sluice with a boat dock; this spot is ideal both for fishing and as a starting point for a short boat ride.
The view stretches across the Meede to the Kreuzkirche in Pilsum, to the top of the dike on the horizon, and to the twin windmills of Greetsiel. The vacation rentals are ideal as a starting point for bike tours. You can also explore the immediate surroundings on walks of varying lengths.
Greetsiel is about 4 km away and is always a great place for a discovery tour.
Pewsum, with good shopping options, is also only 3 km away. The dike near Pilsum is also only about 5 km away. Emden is about 15 km away, and Norden/Norddeich is about 20 km away.
A folder with suggestions for excursions in the surrounding area is provided in the apartments. Krummhörn offers various events throughout the year, including the annual “Orgel-Frühling” (Organ Spring) in May and “Greetsieler Woche” in July/August, featuring a fishing boat parade. The East Frisian islands are easily accessible, and island hopping is possible from Norddeich, Emden, and, to some extent, from Greetsiel. More distant destinations, such as the English Landscape Park in Luetetsburg near Hage, are also worthwhile places to visit in East Frisia, as are the Ems Barrage near Oldersum (near Emden) and the Meyer Shipyard in Papenburg.
