About this apartment rental
The spacious "Sonne" vacation apartment is located in the Heeren Guesthouse in the village of Hamswehrum. The guesthouse, with a total of 400 m² of living space, features 5 charming apartments and is located near the North Sea dike.
The 150 m² ground-floor “Sonne” apartment leaves nothing to be desired. The spacious rooms with high ceilings invite you to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The many windows and the view of the garden flood the apartment with plenty of natural light. From the hallway, you’ll enter the fully equipped kitchen with a dining area. Cook traditional dishes for your loved ones. At the large dining table, you can enjoy meals with the whole family or friends, or simply chat over a cup of East Frisian tea.
Next door is the spacious living room. Relax on the couch and enjoy cozy evenings. The bedroom with a large double bed ensures you’ll sleep soundly and dream sweetly. From here (and from the hallway), you can access the spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub, and natural light. A second bedroom with two single beds is also available. For the little ones, there’s a wooden crib here. From the dining area, you can step out onto the beautiful terrace overlooking the garden. Enjoy the fresh North Sea air in the morning while having a great breakfast. You’ll also find a large communal terrace as well as a covered outdoor seating area with a cozy barbecue corner. The beautifully landscaped garden on the secluded 1,000 m² property invites you to relax.
The family that owns the property also runs a farming operation next door. At the farm stand, you can purchase special East Frisian delicacies, fresh eggs from free-range chickens, small potatoes, vegetables, honey, barbecue meat, and more.
The dike and the North Sea are easily accessible by bike, about 1.5 km away. A 2-km ride takes you to the Uplewarder dry beach, where you can relax in beach chairs. Visit the fishing village of Greetsiel, about 12 km away. Shopping options are available in Pewsum, just 3 km away.

Linens are not included in the rental price. We ask that you bring your own bed linens and towels.
If you prefer, we’d be happy to provide both upon prior arrangement:
Bedding: €10.00 per set and towels: €5.00 per set
We’ll leave the ordered linens for you in a laundry bag at the property. The beds will not be made!
