Appartement au cœur de Nice

Our host was a lovely gentleman who met us outside the unit and helped us take our luggage upstairs to the apartment and showed us everything. And since he spoke no English, and us not a lick of French, he was kind enough to us a translator app so we were all on the same page! The apartment had some of the most comfortable beds we had slept on during our trip. It was also a short 20 minute walk to Old Town Nice, or there were also Trams and buses you could take. Antonio, the owner, also helped us arrange to park our car in a cheaper lot, which was very considerate of him. Such a kind man. Would highly recommend his place simply because of him and his wife's recommendations

Not a thing. Just make sure you bring the cash deposit if renting for the first time from him. I think he had the misfortune of having a bad experience with someone and this is his way of protecting himself.

The host was very nice and welcoming. The place had everything needed for a comfortable stay—cooking utensils, coffee, towels, and shampoos. It was clean, and the sheets were fresh. The supermarket is only 2 minutes away, which was very convenient.

It is noisy at night because the apartment is near the street. The host does not speak English, but he kindly tried (which I really appreciated) to use Google Translate. The host is very nice, but maybe it’s just me—when you pick up the keys, you don’t really need a 30+ minute explanation about how to remove shoes because of microbes, or where the toilet is (since we can see it :)), or detailed instructions on how to open and close the windows. It felt as though we couldn’t touch anything, because the house is not new and we worried we might break something and lose our deposit. We also misunderstood that someone would come to clean every day. No one came, but that was fine—we cleaned the house ourselves. Personally, I didn’t have the patience for such over-explanation. We just wanted to get the keys, take a shower, and sleep. Instead, the key handover turned into a long monologue about what we could and couldn’t do.

Proprietario molto accogliente e premuroso. Se avete bisogno risponde sempre al cellulare. Appartamento situato molto bene vicino fermata autobus e supermercato. Molto pulito anche se datato. Per andare alla Promenade des Anglais avete l'autobus o il tram 2 traverse più lontano. C'è anche un parcheggio a pagamento vicino alla struttura con prezzi accettabili se rimanete più giorni.
