the staff member on the phone was rude, the toilet facilities where dirty

Location as we were visiting for a gig at anfield and this location was good for that.
Electric sockets in room not working. Beds not very comfortable. Broken furniture in room, and light hanging off ceiling in toilet. Insufficient toilet roll supplied in toilet( half a roll between 2 toilets) Noisy, both from street traffic and other guests all through the night, as toilet doors creaked and room doors slamming shut.
