Granary Cottage, Valley Farm, Snape

Excellent location with easy access to Snape Maltings (5 minutes drive) and the coast. Beautifully converted barn - very comfortable, nice ambiance and peaceful location. Very good communication and directions from the owners, who were friendly and amenable.

An extra shower/WC downstairs would have been great, as one of the bedrooms was located on the ground floor, thus requiring climbing up a flight of stairs - especially awkward in the middle of the night!

The bathroom was very plain - not luxury as expected for this price. Other properties we’ve stayed at in this price bracket provided a few essentials such as bread and milk etc - but not here. We had to go back out to the shop after arrival. We were also asked to strip the beds to help the cleaners! We don’t go on holiday and pay nearly £200 a night to strip beds! We’ve only ever been asked to do this in cheap Airbnb’s

Well equipped and full of character. A perfect retreat within easy driving of a range of activities and attractions. The hosts provided great information and we're on hand if we needed anything.

Nice and quiet location close to Aldeburgh. Clean comfy rooms.
