The apartment has a large piazza and off street parking. It is located only a block away from three popular restaurants, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Bistronomy By Nico and Fuel. Walk about 5 blocks and you will be on King Street with many of Charleston's favorite new restaurants and boutiques.
The Neighborhood:
The Elliotborough/Cannonborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.
Getting Around:
You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.
Other Things to Note:
Luggage storage offered Monday- Friday at our main office from 8:30am-5pm. On weekends we recommend utilizing Bounce Luggage storage. Please inquire once booking is complete for the address!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Charleston Charmer! From the moment we stepped across the threshold, we traveled back in time (but with modern conveniences). Everything about it was wonderful. We would definitely stay at the Charleston Charmer again if we are ever back in the area!Pros: The beds were extremely inviting and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware (dishes, glassware, cookware, paper towels, etc), and the coffee pouch was a very nice touch. The neighborhood was quiet and we had a good time venturing out to a few of the nearby locales to enjoy a meal and drinks. On-site parking was a huge perk! Cons: The Host should consider putting visibility markings on the hall stair just outside the bathroom door and leading into the livingroom area to help avoid potential accidents and/or injuries.Also, it may be time to get a new lockbox, as we had a very difficult time getting it open to retrieve the key. Other than that, I would rate our stay a pretty solid 4.5/5 stars. Thank you for hosting us and allowing us to stay in your home. I would highly recommend the Charleston Charmer to anyone wanting to experience a little old world historic Southern charm! You won't be disappointed!

The historic home in Charleston was perfect for two nights. Walking distance to great reasturants and shopping. Short distance to the beautiful battery park area. It was furnished with everything we needed and parking was great.

Place a lot older than pictures imply. Needs some work. Floors very uneven. Railings on stairs need to be strengthened. This place was fine for our needs, but older adults with balance issues would have a tough time
