The host Nick was fab n friendly. He made us feel welcome immediately and took our luggage to the cottage flat upstairs. The cottage was beautiful and exactly as described. Lots of amenities and short of nothing. Beautiful tiny village with coffee shops and Ruthin Castle. Definitely worth a visit. Tesco, co-op and B&M all within reach in the town.
Unfortunately, my vehicle let us down before we even set off, so we got dropped off. Unfortunately, transport is a must. We used local taxis (Daveys), and he was more than happy to chauffeur us about to the small town. This, however, took its toll on our pocket. There are no bus routes from our accommodation. The pub below was closed on Tues-Fri and no longer did meals. We enjoyed the stay but having no transport of our own ruined the holiday. We left early.

Even though above the pub, the apartment was really quiet. It is equipped well and was very comfortable for us four and a perfect place to start our extended tours every day. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The landlord, Nik, was very friendly and helpful. We went on day trips to Liverpool, Chester, Lyme Park, Porthmadog/Black Rock Sands, and more. Always came back in the early evenings and slept really well at night. Had a lovely holiday and would book again if in the area.
For self catering you need to be organized, as no shop is really close, you need a car. Other than that all was fine.

Host's response to resolve issue. Car Parking & location
Tired living room furniture. Property was described as 3 Bedrooms but in reality they were not separated with corridor rather were inter connected. Poor sound insulation with next door. Oven shelves were greasy.

Lovely location, warm well insulated, cooking facilities, not far from local amenities!
The owner was very welcoming and friendly!
Amazing view!
Could hear the neighbours snoring with my sensitive hearing, and car park was muddy! Very picky issues however!

Love the views driving to the location
It's cold, electric heating didn't warm up much, also the hot water was limited, but if you are a couple or solo that would not be a issue, we did a lot of cooking since halal was no where near.also a family of 5.
Nick was pleasant and sorted the water out.
Would definitely recommend to my friends worth it for the views.

I provided my own breakfast and there was no milk provided - just as well I had taken some with me.
The location was useful. I knew where I was going as this was for a family funeral, not a holiday.
When I called to say I had arrived (as per agreement 2 days before) I was told the property was open with the key in the door. I thought this was not exactly secure!
There was no heating and when I asked on the morning of 2nd Feb, I was told that there would only be heating when the restaurant was open on Sunday. This was Thursday!
Thw WiFi code given was totally inaccurate and I had to wait until morning of 2nd to get the correct one.
The whole place was clean, but felt neglected.

Very noisy extractor or something and a constantly banging door when the pub below was open

Flat was extremely well furnished, clean, tidy and a fantastic location for easy travel into other parts of North Wales.
The fact that the one bathroom was effectively located in the main bedroom did not give myself and my partner as much privacy as we would have liked, given we had a friend occupying each of the additional bedrooms, but I accept that is my own fault for not thinking to check that out beforehand, and overall this did not spoil our break too much.

Excellent views and lovely pub below
Nothing to dislike

The property inside was nice and the old pub it was attached to was good for a drink or too. The views from the room were great and a nice terrace to sit out on.
The property is quite a ways out from anywhere and we were not informed before arrival that there had been no chief in the pub for a will and therefore no food. One of our main reasons for booking a place attached to a pub was the ability to go and eat there eliminating the need to cook every night. Bad communication.

Lokalizacja bardzo ciekawa, okolica przepiękna. Obiekt bardzo stylowy ( poddasze zabytkowego walijskiego pubu ). Konieczność posiadania samochodu brak komunikacji w pobliżu jest jedynym utrudnieniem.
