Great stay in Khao Sok!

Relaxed atmosphere, beautiful surroundings (great view from the pool), clean rooms, very kind/friendly staff, good food and drink selection. Overall a great location for visiting the National Park and Cheow Lan Lake

This is a unique stay that feels like you are in the Khao Sok mountains / jungle - it is beautiful! We loved using the pool, restaurant, and slept well. The staff was polite.

It is remote and we didn’t have a car so finding transportation to get to and from was a little challenging. They offer a personal taxi for 2500 baht but that seemed a bit steep in price to us. They also don’t have an ATM on property so if you need baht, they recommend you go to a local bank - which requires a car.

After 8pm there’s no way to get food. It’s very far away from town and there’s only one restaurant in the hotel that closes at 8pm. The food at the restaurant is not good, the chicken was not fresh and although we asked to get a fresh dish, we did not.

The staff were extremely helpful, always welcoming with a great service mindset. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the view from the pool was truly breathtaking.

Listening to the jungle sounds at night were fantastic, bungalows were lovely and clean and the staff were really attentive. View from the pool was fantastic.

There are not many handrails on the steps and can be lethal especially at night as none of the path lighting was working. The white ceramic tiles are lethal when wet, strange that there are these sort of tiles externally when Khao sok gets so much rain.

A real mountain hotel

Visited this hotel for 2 days with family (two kids). Plenty of entertainment (swimming, table tennis, kids archery) for the children. The pool with the view is amazing (great service with drinks and good food). The bungalows are located along a forest filled with jungle sounds, which you can hear at night through the air conditioning in your room. Rooms are clean with comfortable beds and a hot shower.

No complaints. I read reviews mentioning that some of the paths are steep, but then again — don’t book a “mountain” hotel if that’s an issue. It’s exactly what makes the hotel beautiful. Small suggestion: consider changing the music during breakfast.

With hindsight we probably would have been just as happy in a standard room - we were in a deluxe bungalow - can’t remember - and our children were in a standard twin. We had a kitchen and a dining area - I couldn’t see the point.

Really magical stay

We really liked our stay at the hotel. Really such magical surroundings. The hotel is very beautifully situated and is so peaceful and serene. We are a family of four and our kids really enjoyed the pool and there were lots of activities such as badminton, dart and ping pong. The hotel arranged for us to be picked up at the airport and it all went very smoothly. They also arranged a trip to the elephant sanctuary and to the lake. Both of the trips were amazing. Special thanks to our guides to Ban and his brother that took really good care of us in the lake trip.

Magical

We chose this resort after seeing the beautiful photos on Booking, the nature and views are even more beautiful in person. The accommodation offers to arrange personal transfer which we did opt for. We loved our room, there are big windows that were perfect for watching the afternoon rain. We stayed for 4 nights, we booked half day elephant sanctuary tour which we loved, we also booked full day tour to the lake. One whole day we spent at the resort pool and it was perfect. Everything is really clean, housekeeping was making beds and changing towels every day and changed sheets once as well during the 4 day stay. The food and choice in the restaurant was average but still ok. There is a pool bar as well. All in all, we loved it, we would recommend.

Beautiful views, lovely people and incredible service

An absolutely stunning property with exceptional views. The staff were amazing and very accommodating, they brought our bags up to our room and even offered free shuttle into and out of town. Buffet breakfast was delicious and the amenities were great. They even made us an anniversary gift

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this place. It was a little pricy but you definitely get what you pay for. Looking forward to coming back again!

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is stunning, and a perfect base to explore the area. The hotel is lovely, with a great restaurant, pool and lots of things for children to do. The staff are particularly attentive and made us feel welcome and looked after.

Stunning property in remote location

Lovely family room, spacious and modern. Breakfast was plentiful and staff were very accommodating. Pool was of a good size and clean.

The excursion we booked for tubing was poor due to being the end of the dry season. It shouldn't have gone ahead. As their was no water. What should have been a enjoyable experience was very stressful and we ended up walking the majority of the way. It took 2.5hrs to complete, staff seemed dismissive when this was mentioned. The trip shouldn't be sold at this time of the year.

Ruined by traffic noise,poor internet,excessive prices for food and drink and amateur staff.

The beauty of the location is epic,unfortunately the main road runs right next to it,so the constant traffic noise completely spoil the experience. The prices of food and drink they charge because you have no option but to pay due to there being no alternatives around,is rather cheeky. The young girl in the restaurant is without the wit to operate the coffee machine….very annoying.

Amazing stay, amazing views

Amazing views from this hotel. Rooms are super clean. The pool is on a hill as well as the restaurant but still very do-able. Room is a bit small but the little terrace on the side makes up for that. Staff helpful and friendly. The views and surroundings from hotel are amazing. You will need a car or scooter as hotel is a bit outside of the small town. Egg station at breakfast, not a large variety of breakfast items but the items they have are nice.

Beautiful setting, great place to chill out for a couple of days.

This is a seriously good place to stay. We were visiting in monsoon season and the main building was well equipped to entertain our kids when the rain poured. Table tennis table, nice tables to play cards, small pool to take a dip and refresh. The setting is amazing, big limestone mountains surrounding. It is away from the main village of Khao lak but that suited us.

A beautiful welcome to Thailand.

Everything from check-in to check out was warm, welcoming and comfortable. The staff are lovely and accommodating, the view is lovely, the rooms are well maintained and presented, and you have everything you need. One of the pools were down for maintenance but they compensated anyone staying there at the time anyway.

Highly recommended

The view from breakfast is stunning, as well as the view from the balcony of the rooms We ate different dishes at each meal time for four days and were blown away by the quality, absolutely delicious. Also the best chicken wings I've had, on a side note The room is clean, the bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is not very high but the water is hot The staff were wonderful, always trying to give assistance and extremely friendly. They assisted with organising tours and transport It was the perfect place to acclimatise before heading off for more adventures.

Not that I didn't like it, but the location is quite remote, about 15km from the next town and waterfalls etc, but this worked out. We didn't realise that we wanted a place to relax for a few days before moving on , very necessary for the first days of a trip

Nice quiet place but far out of the way

We did not realise how far the hotel was from the town. The taxi back cost us 500bht and just meant we couldn't do what we want too. The pool was very dirty on our first day but when we mentioned it, it was cleaned properly the next morning. The shower didn't stay at a temperature it just kept going too cold.

Many of the rooms do not have the good view. It's only when your taken to your room that you find out yours is one of them. Appart from that was OK. Can of beer a rudiculiiuse price.
