Great accommodation - perfect location

Perfect location for Cassis very close to bus stop that takes you to train station, balcony was very nice and staff were friendly. There is no elevator if you have mobility issues

Disgusting. Don’t waste a cent here.

The property was in a great location, right in the center of the village and close to the beach, restaurants, and port. The hotel had a parking spot to use temporarily while unloading luggage. The staff were very kind and accommodating.

I had not identified this property as a low budget, cheap motel, so I was quite surprised to find the various problems with it. I chose it because of the location. I’ve been in Cassis before and didn’t think a place as rundown as this could exist there. First, there is no elevator and no one to help with bags, so we had to carry our luggage up four flights of narrow stairs. The rooms we rented (2) were exceptionally small. You can barely walk around the bed. It’s minimally furnished with the cheapest, most awful furniture you can imagine. The biggest problem was the bathroom. I’ve included a photo of the disgusting shower tiles. Looks like they have never been cleaned. The toilet seat didn’t even fit the toilet, so even when my child sat on it, it sounded like it was cracking. The towels were stained and non-absorbent. Just dollar store towels. The walls are thin, so we were awakened by a crowd of drunk people coming through at 4 am. Don’t stay here. We never will again. It was the worse stay we’ve experienced in all of France and we visit multiple times per year and stay in all sorts of places.

Simple little hotel in a great location

Great location, it's downtown Cassis and close to the beach for a quick swim. Also right near the bus station to get you to the Cassis train station.

The price of the breakfast was rather high so we chose to eat out. Maybe a simpler choice for less money would be sufficient. The lights in the upper corridor didn't work.

never again in this hotel

The bed was comfortable

upon arrival, the payement the credit card terminal wasn't working and the lady at reception made us feel very uncomfortable as if we had no money to pay. We told her it was her machine but she kept on saying "this never happened before,," so we had to go to the ATM next door to withdraw about 700 euros cash ! then she gave us the keys and told us that there were no lift (not convenient with steep stairs, on 3rd floor and heavy suitcases). Size of the room is a joke, could hardly pass between bed and cupboard, bathroom door too heavy to slide it closed and anyway believe it's meant for decoration as it's got bars on it which gives us no privacy. light in one of our room was not working, we informed them twice to come to change it, they never came. TV is an ipad size on the the wall (we didn't want to watch it anyway, however it's ridiculous, better not put TV at all !). only mirror in the room, was a little one in the shower, not convenient when you want to have a look at your outfit. I'll stop here as I do not want to waste anymore of my time. We will definitly not come back here.

Pleasant!

The hotel is extraordinarily well placed, in the center, near the port! It can be seen that it was recently renovated! But, being in an old building, there are things that cannot be changed, despite good intentions (the size of the rooms, the structure of the stairs). The lady at the reception was very kind (I guess it was Natasha) and offered us a superior room compared to the one we booked, this one with a very nice little terrace! The room is narrow, but for a short stay it is OK! The garage is a big bonus, not being very far from the hotel.

The room had a view to the castle! The location was next to the port, supermarket and a bakery! I would come again to this hotel in the same room Number 8.

The kitchen and breakfast room was full of black wall mold and very smelly. Health danger if you enter the room. The smell was also in the staircase. The owner need to do something fast. The room was extremely small, but clean and renovated.

Friendly hotel in great location.

Close to the beach, harbour and main shopping and entertainment areas. Clean and bright rooms with really good aircon.

Rooms are small and lacking some basic things like long mirror, no hooks to hang towels. The shower curtain is too long and felt damp and slimy. Balcony isn’t really a balcony, can not sit out there it’s very small.

Disappointing

The location was good. The terrace outside our room was nice.

Our room was tiny, despite it being a superior room. There is no lift. The parking is not exactly convenient. We were overcharged although this was rectified when we queried it. Breakfast was closed when we arrived despite being asked to choose the time of our arrival.
