Ty Capel was a very pleasant and convenient place to stay, and we’d be happy to return

Great village location. Off road parking a bonus. Great View from main bedroom. Set well enough back from the road so traffic noise was not a problem. Comfortably accommodated our group of four. The facilities were generally well-equipped with everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen, cosy living area, and ample space for everyone to relax. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds Overall, we had a great time and would recommend it for anyone looking for a comfy, peaceful break

Toilet arrangements were a bit unusual, which we did get used to (no toilet in main bedroom en-suite) The main facilities were clean and comfortable, though a few areas would benefit from a deeper clean. The dining room drawers were crammed full of old leaflets and papers. Also Cobwebs- but these do crop up in old houses No Cutlery basket for dishwasher

The location was perfect, right in the centre of beautiful Betwys-y-Coed to walk, drink and dine.

Late check-in. 2pm is much more reasonable aligned to other stays

Location, location, location! Perfect for parking your car up all weekend and being central to everything. Character building - comfortable for families or groups.

The en-suite bathroom didn’t have a toilet in but a small detail.

The parking was terrible. Slope down to an exit on a blind corner. No lighting in car park area so very difficult to see for manoeuvring and parking

Great location

The house was well located within easy walking distance to restaurants and pubs. It has its own parking. It's a nice size house with plenty of bathrooms.

When we arrived, the changeover hadn't happened. The cleaning company, who was the contact, completed the changeover whilst we went for food, which we appreciated. It delayed our checkin to a certain extent. 4pm is already a late time and this made it later after 7.30pm. There weren't any supplies like tea/coffee etc. It didn't feel like a home.

great location clean

we came away as a group of 3 couples. we go away every year to various places. first time in wales. when I book I alway book 3 bathrooms so each couple have their own. this property is advertised as three bathrooms but actually the on suite and the main bathroom don’t have a toilet. the is a separate toilet for everyone to use upstairs. there is a shower room downstairs with toilet. I think it is misleading to advertise as a three bathroom property as all bathrooms don’t have a toilet. also we had to go out and buy extra toilet rolls and hand soap. and there were not enough hand towels for each guest. these are little cheap details that make all the difference.

Lovely house for a getaway!

Fantastic location with ideal parking, lovely and warm house, cosy interior, nice woodland view, good variety of kitchen appliances.

Nothing major. Found it strange that the en suite in the main bedroom didn't include a toilet, but at least there were two toilets throughout the house. Also a backdoor mat would've been ideal due to rainy weather.

We had a very happy and comfortable stay. The views from the bedrooms are amazing at the front.

Such a lovely cottage and beautiful views. The owners clearly look after the place well and was very comfortable. The dining room at the front of the house is a very nice room to eat in. The heating with HIVE was very easy to use and the double glazing made the temperature very nice. Thank you to the owners for sharing your lovely house!

Shower did not drain so well in the en-suite shower but that is really not a problem! Could have done with a tea towel and a couple of spare dishwasher tablets.

spacious and bright

living room cold and sofas really uncomfortable. on arrival there was a dirty plate in the sink and an unflushed toilet. no dish cloth to wash up with. wouldn’t want to go back.

A really good cottage to stay in Snowdonia.

Very generously equipped with all you need for a two-night stay. Ideally located in a very cute village yet set back from the road. Car Park. Nice view on the opposite forest.
