Spacious dog friendly apartment in superb location
A very well supplied and spacious apartment. Particularly liked the tiled flooring as we brought our dog and didn't have to worry about wet paws.

Gorgeous apartment in central location
What lovely unique decor. Cosy, comfy, bright and airy and clean. Superb kitchen facilities, a bed to get lost in, excellent central location.
A bit of a faff for the paid parking, but it is close by, and the description is clear.

Quirky apartment, perfect location a beautiful setting!
Prefect location! Betws y Coed was beautiful and a great base to travel around North Wales. The apartment was quirky, spacious and has plenty of amenities. Lovely cafes and shops nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back in the future.

Good location. Disappointed with dirty kitchen and issues with parking.
Location is great and apartment nicely decorated
The site says parking on site which is false, you have to use the pay and display train station parking down the street. The utensils in the apartment kitchen were pretty much all dirty, very disappointing to start a holiday by having to clean up from the previous guests.

Lovely spot heart of Betws nice apartment way overpriced cost over £600 for a two night stay not worth it
Property is beautifully designed decorations are just like the cafe but one of the party was upset there was no tv we consoled him by buying games in the village as no games or reading material in the apartment
Mat by front door was very dangerous fell over twice
Needed a lamp in the lounge corner very dark
When parking is advertised it does say you can pay on the long stay carpark
This IS NOT THE CASE
the long stay carpark clearly states no parking after midnight so I called the number provided and I was told it didn't matter no one ever controlled the parking
I couldn't sleep worried I would be clamped or get a ticket as I have a camper van so stood out and it would look like I was camping
I was told it was ok by your company
I ended up moving my van at midnight then going back in the morning so I didn't relax or get any sleep
As we were very close to the cafe every morning all we could smell was bacon
The price for what we got not at all worth it well overpriced over £600 for a two night stay

We stayed in No. 10, Alpine Apartments for three nights on the last weekend in September.
The booking was made through Booking dotcom. For some reason, we did not receive the confirmation email direct to my email address, but rather as a notification to the Booking dotcom app on the day of arrival which I did not see. So great confusion arose, because first of all, we could not find Apartment 10 (we did find Apartments 7 to 9), and second of all the very nice lady in the Alpine Coffee Shop (in common ownership with the apartments) didn’t know where it was either, but she did call the owner on our behalf. The confusion was eventually resolved and we finally gained access to the apartment. We would have to say that the apartment was clean, well equipped, and in a good location. But do read on........
The walls are purple. The ceilings are purple. The steel (!!) window shutters are purple. The doors are purple. The hallway is purple. The bedclothes are a blush pink. The sofa and the rug are orange. The shade on the floor lamp is bright, and fluffy, orange. The “dining table” is a block of wood, full of holes and gouges. On the walls hang a number of items of what might loosely be termed “art”. Ugh.
Now, all of the above might well be a matter of taste. There’s no accounting for individual taste. If that was the only issue...........
Let's start with the description on Booking dotcom says “Private Bathroom”. That is about the most misleading description I have ever come across.
Sitting on the (orange) sofa, lift your eyes a little and what do you see? Through the clear glass doors between the living area and the bedroom, with it’s open plan bathroom, you- and anyone else sitting on the sofa- have full view of the bath, and anyone in it, and a 50% view of the shower, and anyone in it.
Lying in bed, you also have full view of the bath just a metre or two away from the foot of the bed. And full view of anyone in it.
You also have the aural delight of all the toileting sounds emitted by your fellow resident, unattenuated by a door. Because there is no door to the so-called "private" bathroom.
Now, just like the purple decor, all of this may well appeal to some. There may well be some planet in the galaxy whose inhabitants enjoy watching each other bathe and shower. This three-day torture most certainly did not appeal to us.
We deeply resent the misleading description and the failure to draw attention to the unorthodox configuration of this apartment. Had we been aware of the setup described above, there would have been no question of us making a booking.
We hated it.
And it was rotten value for money.

OK but ruined by no bathroom privacy
The decor was nice, very artsy. The shower itself was amazing and the breakfast was delicious.
The room was very dark. The main lights kept turning on and off and flickering so we either had them off or on party mode. The fancy toilet didnt work. The laundry room was so small im a 5 ft 1 size 10 woman and couldn't fit to iron my clothes, it was incredibly awkward. But most bizarre of all there was no door to the bathroom... not even a screen. Not exactly the most romantic to have to sit and listen to your partner have a poo. I could have forgiven all the little things but no bathroom door without even a prior warning of this is just mad. A lot of money for something that fell short.

Perfect spot for exploring Snowdonia
The room was fantastic, decorated beautifully and lots of added extras which made it special. Very clean and comfy. Location was perfect. Bus stop only a short walk away and lots of great food. We had an issue one night (fault of the weather not the property) communication was amazing, very friendly and everything was dealt with promptly. Would recommend to friends and family and happily stay when visiting again. Thank you.

Closest shower and bed to Yr Wyddfa ultras finish?
Excellent location, a really nice space to stay and relax while in Betws. I was there running the Yr Wyddfa 50 miler which starts and finishes on the green over the road so absolutely perfect and a very short stagger back after the race.
The bed was comfortable but very soft, just a personal preference but I prefer a firm mattress.

Beautiful apartment, stunning location
Key’s easily available via a key box and code. The apartment was much bigger than the photos, spotless and really comfortable. Every home comfort has been thought of and provided. The location is fabulous, above a deli, lots of lovely restaurants, dog friendly and out of the rain (there wasn’t much). Beautiful scenery for walking and close to Conwy and Beaumaris. Local mussels are incredible 😁
The shower was only overhead, impossible to use without washing your hair every day.

A very restful and enjoyable stay in a really lovely environment.
The apartment is beautifully decorated, although not necessarily to mainstream tastes. It has a really relaxing and restful ambiance and a perfect location in the centre of Betws-y-Coed. There’s no TV but good WiFi, some may find that a negative, we found it massively positive. The property supplies a selection of board games and jigsaw puzzles to help keep young minds and fingers occupied. The staff around the station shops and eateries are friendly and very helpful, and the pizzeria and coffee shop serve really good food and are rightfully popular with guests and visitors to BYC alike.
You can occasionally be disturbed in the night by passing trains if in the rear bedrooms. But that’s to be expected I guess when you’re staying in a railway station building.

A wonderful base for a family celebratory weekend. Fabulous weather to add to the comfort of such a.
We liked the location, decor of the apartment outstanding: practical and creative, facilities all good allowing us to celebrate & dine indoors as well as going out and about.
We weee aware there would be no private garden space so no great issue. Parking was charged public spaces but we were able to find spaces nearby. We did need to ask this so it would be useful to say this in your information. Travelling by train would be a perfect option but limits where you can visit beyond Betws y coed.

An arty experience
Amazing room, with lot of art surrounding your staying. It’s difficult to describe fully the excitement we had when we opened the door and we discovered the place. The location itself is already charming (the village is very nice and the building is the one of the old train station). The room is exceptionally decorated with taste and meaning. The bed very confortable. This room will stay in our mind forever.

Very pleasant, comfortable stay
Location, the space and the decor. Good shower, plenty of facilities in the kitchen
There was also a bath which if you’ve been doing long walks (or climbing Snowdon) was very welcome
Only one toilet for potentially 6 people. The walk in wardrobe in the master bedroom could be converted to an extra toilet/en suite

Quirky place to stay great location. A stay which is not the normal
Great location, nice and peaceful, large open room very quirky not the normal. Some lovely touches like complimentary wine, tea facilities fresh milk in fridge ect. Nice big property something very different. Keys left in key safe easy check in and out no issues
Parking was a tad vague Long stay car park at £6.00 a day but states no overnight parking and ticket expires at midnight. Rang host who was nice but basically said its up to you but they never have had a problem. We took the chance stayed two days and granted we had no problems but did live in fear of going out and maybe the car having a ticket on as we were not complying with council parking signs. Room wise very nice very different but bathroom needs a door on, my wife really doesn't want to by lying on the bed with the view of me using the toilet, whilst we are taking toilets get rid of the urinal it ruins the bathroom its somewhere nice to stay not a public loo. Going back to the bathroom door this is also needed for these light summer nights mornings as light pours through skylights in bathroom and wakes you up at 5AM. Some more towels would be nice we like to shower every day and one towel each for two nights was not enough to be honest
