A lovely place right in Stari Grad riva, in winter

I liked everything about the location and the facility. No food was included but I did not need/ask for it. Only one restaurant was open in Stari Grad (Pizza Marco) in mid February (but lots of stores). There is a kitchen where you can make your own food. There is a gourmet coffee shop next door where you can sample (and buy) locally produced coffee. It all worked in the end but having to know your exact arrival time and meet a host is a bit nerveracking (your arrival is dependent on ferry schedules, weather, etc.) and i wish they would start using lockboxes for easier access (in Croatia and at this location). Stari Grad riva was under water but it was still possible to get to this place. I watched the local carnival procession from the balcony, which was an unexpected bonus.

Wonderful apartment in great location

This apartment is fantastic, so much light and the location was great. It’s down the quieter end of the quay, by the small boats, backing on to the old town. I could have sat on the balcony and watched life go by for many more evenings!

Great location but hard to sleep given the noise.

Perfect and beautiful location, right in the middle of Stari Grad with easy access to everything. New and refurbished, very clean.

Very difficult to sleep because the whole town passes by the window through the night until 2-3 am. The property and next door restaurants leave their tables out after closing and so there is a constant flow of people who bring their own drinks and sit and talk very loudly. All fine of course, but not nice to sleep next to.

Great place in Stari Grad

The apartment was situated perfectly. Convenient to everything.There are stairs to the apartment, so if you have heavy suitcases be aware.

There was nothing we didn't like. The only thing that would have been useful would have been a small carton of milk and some tea and coffee. Not an issue as the grocery store is within easy walking distance.

Romantic view

Location right in the old center. Corner apartments with a balcony are the best. On the balcony in the evening it is very nice to watch the sunset and parked yachts with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. Everything in the apartments is new. There are many restaurants in the area. But the area is quiet, no discos and loud music. The apartments have a small kitchen and there are bakeries, shops, supermarkets nearby. All the dishes are there. There is a small refrigerator. There is only a washing machine. Entrance to the building is on the side by stairs, there is no elevator. Parking is remote, the apartments are in a pedestrian zone.

Remarkable Riva 15 in sensational Stari Grad

Very comfortable, great views, clean and quiet. First floor apartment with our own balcony was ideal. Having the opportunity for a lovely breakfast downstairs was gratifying. The host was very welcoming, generous, assisted checkin and checkout and provided useful information during our stay.

Picture postcard location

The spectacular waterfront view from the first floor balcony coupled with the cosy contemporary decor made this spotless apartment a real joy. The breakfast in the cafe downstairs was great, as was the prompt staff response to any of our requests. We loved our five-day stay and highly recommend Ancora Faros.

As there was three of us there was not much room, very little space to open up our suitcases. the kitchen table would be better if it was a bench and some stools that push under, or a smaller table, as there is no room to walk around the table if someone is sitting down. Otherwise it was lovely.

Ancora Faros would have to be the best place to stay in Stari Grad! The view, the location! Just wow!!

we loved the location - the view was outstanding - and the apartment is new, super clean and had loads of space. Breakfast downstairs was so convenient and the staff were extremely friendly.

A few basic supplies would’ve been helpful on arrival for example coffee, milk, water. But there are supermarkets quite close by so it’s not really a problem just a suggestion.

The apartment is very very small, we couldn’t open our bags and the “living area” is just A hallway which you can’t all sit at. I would recommend staying at hvar town as this is very far from everything, it was reasonably priced .

The apartment is located right on the water with an amazing view! The staff was so helpful when we arrived! I was traveling with my adult son and the two separate “rooms” worked great for us.

Usually when I’ve rented places there has been coffee and tea provided but this place did not.

The location was wonderful and very romantic, the staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and had all the necessities. It was also possible to cook, but we did not use the kitchen since there was so many wonderful restaurants and cafes around. Would definitely recommend!

If you are a light sleeper you might want to bring earplugs, since it’s places right on the Riva.

This place was spotless, clean towels delivered daily by the lovely Neri. Lovely breakfast. Perfectly located in the beautiful oldtown. Short stroll for a swim at a lovely beach.

A little cosy for 4 people (we had 2 teenagers with us) but would be perfect for 2. However the location more than made up for this.
