Apartment Mandalina House

The location was easy walking distance to the main area of Stari Grad, yet has safe on-premise parking; something that is very hard to find. The apartment is spacious and well-furnished with a small, but well-equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi/bandwidth was good and would be good enough for business use. The main outdoor terrace is large and L-shaped, so equal amounts of sun and shade for most of the day, with a lovely view over the remains of an old olive-grove to nearby pine-covered hills.

Aircon was in the main living area only, so bedrooms were quite warm in the night-time, although vertical free-standing fans are provided for each bedroom. There is a lot of building work going on in the immediate area but this never bothered us; in fact we barely noticed it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandalina House on Hvar Island, specifically in the charming town of Stari Grad, and I can’t recommend it enough. This was one of the most enjoyable stays we’ve had, and it truly made our trip unforgettable. First, the location is perfect. The house is just a 2-minute walk from the center of Stari Grad, which is full of history, local charm, and delightful restaurants. Despite being so close to the action, the house is in a peaceful area, ensuring a restful stay. If you’re looking to explore more of the island, Hvar city is only a 20-minute drive away, making it easy to visit the island’s more vibrant spots while still having a serene retreat to return to. The house itself was exceptional. It was equipped with everything we needed, making it feel like a home away from home. Whether it was the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, or the cozy living area, every detail was thoughtfully prepared. The cleanliness and upkeep of the house were impeccable, contributing to the overall comfort. One of the highlights was the hospitality of the owner. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. The owner was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They provided us with great local tips and were always available if we had any questions. Another bonus was the free parking, which made exploring the island by car hassle-free. Parking can be tricky in popular destinations like Hvar, so having a guaranteed spot right at the house was a huge plus. In summary, our stay at Mandalina House was nothing short of wonderful. The combination of its perfect location, well-equipped and comfortable home, and the warm hospitality of the owner made it a memorable experience. We left feeling relaxed and recharged, and we would definitely return on our next visit to Hvar Island. Highly recommended!

The apartment is located within a five minute walking distance from the main bars and restaurants of Stari Grad. It was extremely clean. There was everything we needed including two bathrooms. We even had a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. The host replies very quickly when you have a question. I can only recommend this place very warmly

The apartment was really good. I cant think of anything that i didnt like about it. It was really close to the center of Stari Grad but it was in a really quiet area. I would strongly recommend it.

Krásny obrovský apartmán. Perfektne vybavený. Bolo tam úplne všetko. Manželka povedala, že lepšie ako u nás doma. 🙂 K tomu 2 kúpeľne a super poloha 3 minúty od centra a predsa s dostatočným súkromím.

Wir konnten zwei wunderbar entspannte Wochen im Apartment Mandalina House verbringen. Die Lage ist hervorragend! Man ist in nur wenigen Minuten zu Fuß im „Zentrum „ von Starigrad und kann dennoch die traumhafte Ruhe genießen. Die gesamte Wohnung ist hochwertig ausgestattet und für die Sauberkeit wird bestens gesorgt! Der Kontakt zu Vermieterin war jederzeit unkomplizierter und äußerst freundlich. La casa è davvero grande e molto accogliente , con tutti i servizi necessari . L’host è stato gentile e meticoloso nel rispondere subito dandoci tutte le informazioni utili per il check in. Il punto davvero forte inoltre è la vicinanza alla città vecchia , in neanche 5 minuti a piedi si è in pieno centro .

Andrebbe fatto qualcosa per la presenza di troppe formiche .
