Loved it so much we will come back!

The whole place we loved, starting with the accommodation: we had stayed in ‘Torre’, best quality country/rustic furnished with great views over country and distant lake, very comfortable bed and quite surrounding, guaranteeing a relaxed time. The owner and all the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Wine and home cooked dinners available so no need to leave the premises.

It wasn’t easy to find the place first, we missed the signs so got a bit lost.. but once you get there know. Also since the road has no tarmac it’s not so easy getting up the sharp corners.. but we managed.

The room was lovely and a stunning location, beautiful pool. Breakfast was exceptional standard with loads of choice. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed the wine from the vineyard We hope to stay again in the future

Delightful, we'd love to come back again!

Such a beautiful location, very relaxing, wonderful breakfasts and dinners. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and Giulio and Diego went above and beyond in helping us. Possibly the best lodgings we have ever stayed at, wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

The road to drive up can prove a little challenging, but we found it quite entertaining actually.

Everything. It was the most amazing place I’ve probably stayed in Italy! The staff were so kind, the beds were so comfortable, the grounds were so well kept, the food was delicious and the views were spectacular! I can’t wait to come back.

Nothing I didn’t like. Just be comfortable driving 10 minutes up a dirt/gravel road! Our regular 2WD car did just fine.

Amazing location, the food was to die for, the room was very comfortable, and everyone was accommodating. I was able to do some great tours in the area but you can stay all day lounging by the infinity pool and this would already be worth your stay.

Absolutely stunning in every single way!

Di Colle In Colle exceeded our expectations and then some. It is the most beautiful authentic Tuscan experience you could ask for, with the most wonderful host, team, view, decor, pool and food. We ate some of the best food of our lives here, were looked after so well by Giulio and his kind and friendly team, and enjoyed the stunning views from the poolside. Giulio was able to recommend lots of things and places for us to do/visit and was always available for anything we needed. We cannot wait to visit again, and again!

Perfection

Our family has been to Europe several times but we have never stayed at a property as special as Di Colle in Colle. We stayed in the two bedroom house on property and it was perfect for our family of four (including two teens). The a/c worked great, we took advantage of the washing machine and loved having our espresso on the patio every morning. There are shutters to darken the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. Between the attention to detail of the home itself, the incredible views and the overall tranquil feeling, we did not want to leave. We had dinner two of the four nights and regret not eating there every night. The prices were reasonable and the food was incredible. Giulio is one of the nicest and hardest working people we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and appreciate how special he made our vacation. The only negative was that we didn't stay longer, but know that we will definitely be returning. Thank you Giulio for creating an exceptional property and giving my family memories that we will forever cherish.

Some people may think the long dirt road to the property is a negative but my husband and I would argue who got to drive, it was seriously fun! However, if you are driving a nice sports car you may have another opinion.

Our stay here was amazing, and one of the highlights of our trip. The location is amazing - you have a view over the lake while nestled in olive groves and vineyards. The property is clean and well maintained. The optional nightly dinners were one of our highlights with delicious food. The owner of the property was amazing and helped us whenever we needed anything.

Extraordinary - peace of paradise in Umbria

Giulio has created an absolutely fantastic place 🤩💜. We felt very welcomed right from the beginning. Each room is unique and decorated with lots of love. The room has everything you need and is super clean. We relaxed at the infinity pool, which was super quite and offered enough space and privacy for all guests. Breakfast is really delicious (especially the croissants with cream ☺️) and you can choose between a variety of things. Lunch was served at the terrace where you have a fantastic lake view. Every day, one local speciality is offered, also you can get classic Caprese with tomatoes from the garden. Every night the team offered a menu which local specialties. We had 3 dinners during our stay, each was of extraordinary quality and different every night. We loved the green tomato sauce next to the pecorino (secret family recipe 😩 - so we couldn’t buy it). Giulio produces also his own olive oil and vine, which we liked a lot - especially the red one. For us it was the perfect place to relax at the end of our road trip through Italy. We can highly recommend this place and would always come back! Thanks a lot, Giulio and family!

Dream location in olive groves and wine

Breathtaking views from the balcony and pool and immersed in olive groves and wine. The owner went out of his way throughout our stay to make sure we took advantage of everything the property has to offer: excellent quality farm to table dinners, wine tastings and aperitivos by the infinity pool. Our 4 year old daughter and dog had the best time too. Very relaxed, super friendly vibe.

La struttura è magnifica, con una vista mozzafiato. Camere molto accoglienti, ben arredate, pulite e con tutti i servizi necessari. Lo staff molto professionale, la cucina favolosa!

La strada per arrivare non è la più comoda, seppur si percorra senza problemi. Una volta arrivati, viene subito dimenticata.

Onze accommodatie (appartement Arianna) was geweldig (schoon, modern en ruim) en van alle gemakken voorzien. Daarnaast is de ligging van Di Colle in Colle werkelijk prachtig. Veel ruimte om van de zon te genieten en een mooi zwembad. We hebben genoten van het fraaie uitzicht op het meer. Het personeel is fantastisch. Van het ontbijt hebben we elke dag genoten. De keuze daarbij viel iets tegen, maar de kwaliteit was erg goed. Een prima agriturismo voor maximaal vijf overnachtingen.

Het zwembadwater was volgens ons een beetje te koud. Niet echt behaaglijk om te zwemmen. Niet zo bijzonder, want bij andere accomodaties in Umbrië die we later bezochten was dat niet anders. Daarnaast is de weg naar de agriturismo behoorlijk slecht. Het gaf ons (en de auto) elke dag een bijzondere uitdaging. Wij vonden zelf het diner niet zo heel erg geweldig. Goed, maar we hadden er meer van verwacht gezien de reviews. De prijs was helaas niet in verhouding met de kwaliteit en de hoeveelheid.

Wunderschöne Aussicht

Die Anfahrt ist beschwerlich, das stimmt schon, aber sie ist es jeden Tag auf s Neue wert. Man wird belohnt mit einer traumhaften Aussicht und einer sehr hübschen Unterkunft. Das Essen ist großartig und sie sind zurecht stolz auf ihre Produkte. Das Frühstückskonzept ist eine gute Idee, so wird nichts verschwendet. Vielen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft, das tolle Öl, die gelungene Auszeit. Da kein Zimmer wie das andere ist, kann sich jeder das passende für sich aussuchen. Wir hatten das kleinere Zimmer, da muss man sich ein bisschen organisieren, dafür aber die riesige Terrasse.

Perfect verblijf en eten!!

Schitterende locatie met uitzicht over het meer. Het personeel is supervriendelijk en behulpzaam en het restaurant serveert een menu waaraan menig Michelinsterren restaurant niet aan kan tippen. Al met al echt een topplek en een aanrader voor een ieder!

Frühstück für italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut. Die Lage von Di Colle in Colle war ausgezeichnet, die Zufahrt allerdings etwas steiler und ruppiger als gedacht, trotz Vorwarnung per Mail, aber wir haben es geschafft hochzukommen.
