ZANZIBAR TROPICAL SUNSET - Adults Only Boutique Hotel by Sofia Collection

A lovely, quiet place with spacious rooms; Clean and comfortable rooms; nothing was missing. we stayed in the huge suite. The pool is really great, and the atmosphere is pleasant.Everyone is lovely—the young woman at the reception Even her recommendations for restaurants and places to go out were simply excellent! and the amazing Joyce, who offered to help with everything I asked for, as well as the manager, Remo. They are simply such warm, professional, and kind people.

Cozy, comfortable, sea view

The room we booked was not ready for check in the first day so I had to move in to another room. But it was fixed the next day and stayed in the room we booked.

The property was beautiful! The rooms were very comfortable and the staff were so lovely. The breakfast was really lovely.

There was no bin in the bathroom which was annoying as I needed it for sanitary products. It was advertised as having a private beach which is true but it is at another property which is quite far away and you have to drive to which costs 20,000 TZS. This was a very nice place but I think it should have been made clear in the listing.

The room was cleaned every day and fresh flowers were put on the bed which was a nice touch. We enjoyed our time at the balcony but for some reason lots of ants came in the evening.

The pictures here sadly don’t represent the reality of this accommodation. The pool is very small and it was not cleaned regularly and it didn’t have enough water. The bathroom was the worst! Shower and toilet are very close together so everything is wet when you take a shower. It was clean but in bad condition. The breakfast is very very basic, you practically eat the same thing every day. The fruit was cut into small pieces so it looked bigger on the plate. The prices at the restaurant are outrageous, 13.000 TZS for a beer, a bootle of water for 8.000 TZS. We went to the 5-star hotel near by for the day and the drinks in food were cheaper there. We stayed for 4 nights but we regret this decision. We think this accommodation is good for short stays (2 days) where you are out and about for the whole day and you basically just sleep at the hotel. It’s definitely not a good choice to have a relaxing holiday here.
