Vesna was very helpful and a wonderful host at Villa Vanilla. The pool was clean and very welcome on very hot days. Initially we were shown to the wrong apartment as we needed a sofa bed but we were quickly relocated to the correct one with a good sized terrace too. There are 2 supermarkets approx. 10/15 minute walk away.
The property is approx. 30 minutes walk from the beach but too far to walk to the Old Town so we had to use Ubers. It would be ok if you have a car.

We enjoyed having a small apartment on the outskirts of the city which was convenient from which to make day trips out to nearby national parks. We also LOVED the little colony of tortoises that live on the property.
The area was quite noisy with parties, presumably making up for the fact that there's very little else to do in the area. It's definitely the cheaper end of town, popular with young people out for a hot, poolside holiday.
Our apartment was relatively basic and not especially modern. The shower didn't have a functioning holder for the showerhead and the beds were quite firm, and the airconditioning was only in the main living/kitchen area, but we would have preferred to have it in the bedroom!
