Clean and comfortable apartment. Location is around 2km from old town area, around €5 back in a taxi. Owner Vesna friendly and helpful.

A very recommended place to stay in Zadar, especially if with kids. Pool available at hand makes a difference - and also some charming turtles that you can observe around. Owners are very friendly and supportive if any needs.

We enjoyed having a small apartment on the outskirts of the city which was convenient from which to make day trips out to nearby national parks. We also LOVED the little colony of tortoises that live on the property.
The area was quite noisy with parties, presumably making up for the fact that there's very little else to do in the area. It's definitely the cheaper end of town, popular with young people out for a hot, poolside holiday.
Our apartment was relatively basic and not especially modern. The shower didn't have a functioning holder for the showerhead and the beds were quite firm, and the airconditioning was only in the main living/kitchen area, but we would have preferred to have it in the bedroom!
