Hotel de Montaña La Hortizuela

La ubicación es muy buena,pero lo mejor es lo acogedor que es. Un ambiente familiar. Todo limpìsimo. La comida del restaurante magnífica. Las camas cómodas. Y que el WiFi funcione regular,lo veo hasta una ventaja!!!

The isolated location, the wooded surroundings

They claim to be a mountain hotel, but they don't seem to know that people set off early for mountain outings : I had planned for a very long hike and asked to have breakfast at 8, because their normal earliest time was 8:30, which, even in tardy Spain, would be acceptable only for a beach hotel... When I went down at 8:00, there was no one around and nobody answered the bell which I ringed several times. I waited until the "normal" time of 8:30, and as still no one was showing up , I decided to leave, so that I walked for 8+ hours without having had the breakfast I had paid for... If I had received only a minimal apology, I would not have writed a negative review, but they really don't seem to care... Besides this the central heating was not working, the rooms have no bedside lamps and are not as cheap as they should be consiidering the general lack of care, or even the state of decay, of this hotel
