Hotel geboekt op doorreis terug naar Nederland. Ruime en schone kamer. We hebben hotel last minute geboekt. Bij aankomst konden we het hotel binnen d.m.v. een cijfercode. Onze kamer was nog niet gereed, maar werd snel klaargemaakt. Er zit een restaurant op 5 minuten loopafstand. We hebben daar heerlijk gegeten met onze kinderen. Het ontbijt was lekker, genoeg keuze voor iedereen.

Er was 1 luifel defect, waardoor het vroeg licht werd in de kamer.

Frühstück war prima. Das Gasthaus Cantz in unmittelbarer Nähe bietet eine hervorragende Küche mit schwäbischer Hausmannskost.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit wijngoedhotel. De eigenaar en het personeel waren ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij, waardoor we ons direct welkom voelden. Een groot pluspunt was dat we de heerlijke wijnen van het wijngoed konden proeven. Ook lag er een fijne deken, drinkbak en doek voor ons hondje. Onze kamer was ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. De airco was erg aangenaam tijdens het warme weer. Ook het parkeren was erg eenvoudig dankzij de ruime parkeergelegenheid bij het hotel. Ook de tuin was erg sfeervol. De ligging is prachtig: nabij hun wijnranken en vlak bij het water, wat zorgt voor een rustige en sfeervolle omgeving. Een ideale plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van de natuur, de wijn en de gastvrijheid. Wij komen hier graag nog eens terug! 🍷🌿

The building looks lovely and modernized, and prior to the trip the staff was very responsive; they also kindly received a package in advance for us.

Both we and, we learned, another couple who had arrived shortly before us, had to call the on-vacation owners of the hotel to get the door code to get in; the owners had sent a message through the Booking platform saying that they would be providing the door code - but the door code itself was missing. Nobody answered the doorbell at the building, and nobody answered the two phone numbers we found for the lodging. The owners called back some minutes later with the code. This was unfortunate and simply should not have happened. The very modern facilities inside the building were a bit strange - motion sensors to keep the lights on in the hallways that clicked audibly; the powered lock on the main door that took several seconds to lock/unlock. A lovely shower but without a door or sill on the floor to stop some water from spraying out. The beds were a bit too soft. One window's powered shade was broken (stuck in the down/ window dark position), and the controls for these windows are located unexpectedly across the room without obvious marking. Street noise was disturbing to sleep. The breakfast was adequate. Overall, we had expected more of the hotel than we expected from the hotel's listing and website, and the price.
