The property is a terraced house in the small seaside town of Holywood, Co Down. It has an open plan kitchen / living / dining area on the ground floor and two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor. It is fitted out to a high specification with wifi and all mod cons. There is a wooden annex off the kitchen to enjoy an indoor / outdoor space. It is situated off the main street in Holywood allowing easy access to the local pubs and restaurants. Holywood has a nice buzz and is great place to stay.
The property is situated close to the coast and within walking distance of the local beach and Seapark recreation area. Enjoy a wonderful walk along the coastal path between Holywood and Bangor. Golf at Holywood golf club (home of Rory McIlroy) or walk the many trails in Redburn Country Park. Downshire Haven provides a great bolthole to enjoy the delights of Belfast City or the North Down area.
Downshire Haven is an ideal location for a short stay for singles or couples on business or pleasure in a cosy, welcoming, well provided terraced house which is very convenient to Belfast City Airport and the Holywood Exchange retail park.

We enjoyed our stay! The space was clean and bright, with everything we needed, including a private backyard terrace spot. The access to the train into Belfast was close and very easy to navigate. We were there in the off-season and found cute coffee places and restaurants, but be aware that during the week in off-season, things may close early on week-days. The host was very responsive when we contacted them! It was a great start to our vacation. Thanks!

It was a very clean, cute and quiet place, with an outdoor, private space. The host was very receptive when contacted and easy to get a hold of. The town is cute, with good coffee shops. Some of the dinner spots close early during off-season, just FYI, but that was not a problem. The train service to Belfast is very close by and easy to access. All in all, a great start to our Northern Ireland vacation and we were very happy with all things at this stay. Thanks to the host for a great stay.

I enjoy, as always, the peace and quiet, and the location of the apartment (close to shops and public transport). The apartment is quite roomy and immaculately kept. Brian is always available and willing to help if he can.
