Super netter Empfang, heißes Wasser wurde auf Wunsch in unsere Thermobecher gefüllt, Frühstück absolut ausreichend mit allem was das Herz begehrt, glutfreie Brötchen wurden an den Tisch gebracht.

Schlechte Beleuchtung im Badezimmer, Belüftung oder Klima ging nachts für ca 20 Min an, obwohl ausgestellt.

Trevligt boende med färger och detaljer, väl genomtänkta.

I rummen är det endast mörkläggningsgardiner för fönstren. Borde också finnas genomskinliga gardiner att använda för fönsterna.

Frukosten var bra. Det var skönt med luftkonditionering på rummet och sängarna var bra.

Incheckningen fungerade inte riktigt (söndag kväll, ingen personal på plats). Vi fick inte de nycklar vi skulle ha och inte koden till wifi. Vi fick betala extra för extrasängen på rummet trots att det ingick i priset vi betalat i förväg, avgiften återbetalades dock en vecka senare. Personalen verkade ha en del kommunikationsproblem och verkade stressade.

Accommodation was nice, would return.

Breakfast was good, not excellent, and the variety was about average compared to other similarly-priced hotels in Sweden. My error, but I somehow missed at booking a few weeks earlier that the desk is unmanned on Sundays. Traveling around Sweden we were so busy with family & sightseeing on our own that sometimes I didn't know what day it was, which is proof of being relaxed on vacation. The door was locked on arrival, but looking at the reservation I saw that I should have phoned the prior day to arrange access. Called the number; the clerk/manager was very pleasant and arrived within 10 minutes to let us in and explain everything. We would stay there again when we return to Nybro as I have a relative nearby.

Lugnet, luftkonditioneringen, stort badrum och sängen. Bra gratis parkering vid hotellet.

Frukosten var lite av en besvikelse. Endast hårdkokta ägg som var stenhårda. Kvaliten kändes vara sådär på de övriga påläggen. Cheddarosten fick man skära själv, lite ohygieniskt. Bredbara leverpastejen såg inte fräsch ut, bruna torra kanter plus att den inte smakade gott (låg kvalitet).

Frukosten var ok, men inget sensationellt. Bra utbud. Sängen och rummet var toppen. Lade inte märke till persiennerna och vaknade tidigt av solljuset.

Det sämsta versionen av småländsk snålhet slog till och förtog hela vistelsen. Receptionisten utlovade vid ankomst gratis te från restaurangen eftersom det inte fanns vattenkokare på rummet. Tog därför en liten kopp te och påtår i restaurangen senare på kvällen och hänvisade till receptionistens uttalande. Märk min förvåning när jag skulle betala hotellnotan då inte bara en, utan två koppar te fanns på notan. När jag nämnde det för den andra receptionisten sa hon ingenting så jag betalade snällt. Summan är helt betydelselös, men bristen på servicekänsla från personalen är djupt beklaglig för ett hotell som vill ge sken av att ha hög standard. Att inte kunna erbjuda varmt vatten och en tepåse till en gäst som betalar nästan 1700 kronor för en natt sänker betyget markant. A och O för ett hotell med nån form av självaktning är att ta hand om gästen så att den känner sig välkommen. Hellre lite skit i hörnen och avskavda tapeter och trevlig personal än det motsatta, vilket tyvärr det vi fick hos Stora hotellet. Skicka majoriteten av personalen på kurs i service, gästvänlighet och kommunikation. Välj ett annat hotell där service står högst upp på agendan och istället för inställningen att pressa ut så mycket pengar som möjligt från gästen.

Toppen! Mycket nöjda med vår vistelse där!

Efter en resa med bland annat övernattning i Malmö och Köpenhamn kom vi till Nybro Stora hotell för en begravning i Nybro. Förväntningarna var låga men vi blev mycket glatt överraskade. Fräscht hotell med trevlig personal, sköna sängar, vackra material, fin inredning och intressant historia. Vi blev glatt överraskade av den spännande menyn i restaurangen och kvalitén på maten var mycket hög. En vistelse som gjorde oss glada trots det lite sorgsna skälet till besöket i Nybro.

Aangenaam hotel met heerlijk ontbijt en zeer goed á la carte restaurant (en fijn terras buiten)

Nybro zelf is niet heel spannend, maar in de buurt is het prachtig. Ook zit je op een half uur rijden van het prachtige Kalmar. Het hotel zelf is zeer netjes, vriendelijk personeel, de bedden fantastisch, het ontbijt lekker en uitgebreid en het restaurant perfect.

Iets van kastruimte op de eenpersoonskamer was prettig geweest.

Snyggt och fräscht hotell centralt i Nybro. Fin liten restaurang med god mat, gott att dricka och helt ok frukost. Sköna sängar och bra med kuddar.

Synd att det inte fanns en handduksvärmare i badrummet, en badrumsmatta att stå på när man duschat är också fint att ha. Takbelysningen var dimmad, i hall, rum och badrum, och det blev aldrig riktigt bra och stark belysning. Vi fick veta när vi kom att TVn hade chromecast, men det funkade inte, då kraschade TVn, det funkade inte ens att byta kanal.

Booked 2 superior double rooms with balcony, but only one was with balcony. No-one at night to help at solve problems that arise , eg. when the air conditioning broke down. Restaurant staff were so nice to try help with solving problem, but lacked expertise.
