Stufvenäs Gästgifveri

I was trying the find a nice base for a few nights between coming over the Øresund bridge and heading to Götland on the ferry from Oskerhamm. So glad I discovered this place - and I didn't even have time to use the spa! Beautiful, quiet setting, with a lovely big, comfortable room, surrounded by nature, and linked to lots of walking and cycle routes. The breakfast offering was extensive, and I ate in the restaurant one evening, which was very good. The wider area has lots to offer, including a half an hour drive to Kalmar and the island of Öland, which is definitely worth a visit. You could easily spend a week exploring, and relaxing in equal measure. The short walk along the coastal inlet from the hotel to the ancient oak tree, was a post-breakfast treat.

I did feel the bathroom was a bit old fashioned, but it was spotlessly clean, and had lovely toiletries! :)

Trevliga rum och suverän personal, mycket bra mat och en avverkad bästa frukostarna vi ätit, detta i kombination med läget ger ett boende som gör att vi gärna kommer tillbaka till.
