Good food places at twerton

The nearby sandwich shop was superb and the archway cafe was a good old fashion cafe .easy to get buses to bath

Road is quite noisy with the window open. A kettle would have been useful, I had to bring my own. Nobody answered my message requesting one.

I really was thankful for the staff from the university reception - they were really helpful about the way in and out and showed me the lift to my room.

The first night I didnt have any towels. I had a duvet and pillows and a mattress cover - but without pillowcases and duvet cover. I had to call the emergency help number and ended up sending lots of mails with photos of my room without towels and covers, i got treated as though they thought i had pinched the items! Which was very uncomfortable! I spent the first eve ing in my room , thinking i would get towels etc. I didnt really get an answer! I went out to buy some linen napkins - so i could have a shower and dry myself off!! I didnt get an answer- the following morning went to the university reception and she made a note of it and said she would pass it on to the cleaner. The cleaner wasnt aware that someone was staying in the room.

It was a little noisy at night. A supermarket around the corner had noisy night time deliveries. Also every door was a fire door and so v noisy when shutting

Back to life as a student - nothing more

Location was great.

Stayed for 14 days and no room cleaning or towel/bedding change. There were no cleaning equipment, so although I could tackle the wsshing, the room was uncomfortably messy at the end of my stay. There was also no facility information available and the reception staff just told me to contact Booking.com for information. Was less than ideal and I was definitely left feeling i was in student digs and nothing more.

Pleasant

It was easy to get there from Bath by bus, and the staff was really helpful, contacting was easy too, and I alwasy got answer very quickly.

The toilet, chair (armchair) and shared kitchen weren't clean enough, and the aisle is hot, I'm not kidding, there was at least 33 °C, but the tempreture in the room was completley fine.

It was OK but I suspect the management of the business and the app needs attention

The apartment is spacious and clean. I have stayed here before and know it to meet my needs and that it was previously well run.

On the day I arrived I received a member of messages on the app to ask about my arrival time, which I responded to. There seemed to be some duplication in questions as if I was in contact with at least two different people, because I was asked for the same info more than once. This was rather annoying and the key handover was problematic. I had entered my earliest and latest arrival times on the app ( 3pm to 5 pm I think) and had a response saying that tis was acceptable. But when I arrived at my family in Bath I got a message saying I needed to be at Ewerton Mill to collect it at 3pm. This was inconvenient as I was in the middle of our first family lunch in over a year. The handover was very quick with no explanation other than problems with the persons phone battery. On leaving there was no instructions on where to leave the keycard and the office was locked. I had to rush to get to the airport so took the keycard with me. I hope the increase in price since previous stays (£50/night in 2018, £90/night 2021) is not permanent
