The breakfast was great. great choice of serials etc, and was cooked fresh, in a friendly atmosphere,
Furniture in room could do with a little TLC

Despite being a pub on quite a main road, my room was at the back and was totally quiet. Parking is quite plentiful but maybe not at the weekend when the pub is busier. The room was fresh, bright but comfortable and well maintained. The bed was a little soft but that’s just my preference as I have a back issue. The staff were polite on greeting and then left you with privacy unless you needed them. It’s a short drive to a Mc Donald’s and Asda in case you needed them food or supplies and was a perfect location ( 7 min drive) from Beamish Living Museum.
A slightly firmer bed ( very personal preference) Food closer or at the pub On a busy road for turning in and out , but not bothered by noise

Breakfast was nice! Had a full English to power up for the day ahead. Room was nice, clean, but a tad dusty where the coffee mugs were. No en-suite bathroom, had to go through a hallway for that.
I paid twice, once on Booking.com, then again on the night of my stay. £66 both times, I mean, the room was nice, but not £132 nice ha.
