Acomodação excelente pelos proprietários, super simpáticos e prestativos. Cama boa e confortável. Chuveiro com boa pressão e boa temperatura. Toalhas de bom tamanho e qualidade. O café da manhã é um verdadeiro bônus.

Faltou só o condicionador de cabelos no banheiro. A piscina ainda estava fechada, apesar do calor.

I loved my stay.

My wife and I truly loved everything about La Maison and our gracious hosts. Sylvie and Yves welcomed and treated us with genuine warmth, kindness, and good humor throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure our visit was a delightful experience in every way. As a member of the Chain des Rotisseurs (an international gastronomic society based in Paris), I had chosen La Maison to enjoy Chef Yves's reputed culinary talents. The first morning his incredibly exquisite five-course "breakfast" completely blew us away. On the second day he somehow managed to surpass himself. The man is a sublime master of his craft and loves sharing the joys of his table. His magnificent cuisine vastly exceeded our expectations. La Maison itself is a charming, updated, very comfortable 1881 residence overlooking the St. Lawrence River with spacious lawns and greenery. The lovely swimming pool was inviting but the weather turned out to be a bit too chilly to enjoy that in mid-June. The setting on the quiet side of L'Isle d'Orleans is ideal for relaxing and exploring this marvelous and bucolic island of picturesque villages, beautiful homes, and idyllic farms that supply Chef Yves with locally-sourced ingredients daily. It is a wonderful counterpoint to the bustling, splendid City of Quebec, which we also enjoyed immensely, and a great place to wind-up our Quebecois adventure. Beyond that, we left La Maison with the pleasure of having made two memorable new friends in Sylvie and Yves. Je me souviens. We will return.
