We had amazing stay at this property. Located next to little church which you can visit and about 3 minutes walk to the river where all the restaurants are. The area was also very quiet during the night. It was also fairly easy to get to the city centre. 2 bedrooms which is good for family of 3/4, kitchen well equipped with some coffee and tea. Lidl is about 20 minutes walk but be warned there are hills so would advise to take a cab. Air con in bedrooms and in open plan kitchen.We had a wonderful stay in Porto !!!

I was visiting family in Portugal and I had friends from America coming to visit so I booked a stay in Gaia to see them. The location was perfect with the iconic view of the city of Portugal across the river. The apartment was very accommodating and had everything one would need. I found staying in Gaia, more relaxing, peaceful, and quiet than when I have stayed on the Porto side. This flat is only a block from the riverfront and very easy to get into Porto by walking. My friends had shared their Airbnb with me and I looked for something for myself that would be close to them. I thought I was staying right across the street but actually I was in the flat right below them. Perfect! They had a lovely studio loft with a balcony and View. If someone needs more space than the two bedroom apartment I recommend renting the loft above it too. The only issue I had was when I needed an Uber to pick me up. They couldn’t find me. I would recommend walking the one block to the riverfront where it is easy for the Uber to find you. If I have another opportunity to stay in the Porto area, I will definitely book this apartment in Gaia.
