The apartment was lovely. It didn't really make it clear in the description on booking.com but it's completely self contained so you have your own kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and roof terrace with a lovely view over the port and the bay to Vesuvius. The apartment was very clean and tidy and almost completely silent at night.
The kitchen wasn't very equipped (no sharp knives for chopping/slicing for example) and it was difficult to cook a proper meal.
Castellammare is in a good location midway between Naples and Sorrento and the port is only 5 minutes away for boats to Capri, Amalfi and Positano. Be aware though that it isn't a tourist town and there are no pleasant little squares or scenic areas for eating/drinking. It's a very busy town and the traffic noise is pretty much constant. However it is perfectly safe and the station is only a 20 minute walk from the apartment.

A szállás nagyon szép, tiszta, teraszáról csodás kilátás nyílik a Vezúvra. Reggelivel együtt kértük a szállást, azzal is minden rendben volt. Étel érzékeny egyikünk, jelzés után azonnal megoldotta biztonságosan a szállásadó.
Nagyon jó ár-érték arányú a szállás.
A környék nagyon szemetes és lepusztult állapotban van, de ez a szállásra nem igaz, azzal meg voltunk elégedve.
Egyetlen érdemi negatívumot tudunk említeni, a WC-n nem volt wc deszka.

Spacious and cozy apartment with fabulous views of the Vesuvius from the balcony. The location is a perfect staring point to explore the Amalfi Coast, Capri (with direct daily ferry line), Naples area etc. The host was kind and quickly replied to every question we had.
Castellammare di Stabia itself is not a too attractive city as it is very trashy and the beaches are forgettable. But it is still a great value for money.
It is nice to have some snacks, drinks and prepacked stuff for breakfast but it is not comparable with a proper (e.g. hotel) breakfast in my opinion, so it can be a bit misleading in the listing.
