Oasis House

Super!

The door…

We visit the Azores from mainland Portugal just to swim in the warmer ocean water. This apartment has a swimming spot RIGHT OUTSIDE. So close you can roll out of bed, and in one minute you are in the sea. We swam here every morning and evening, and in-between tried other swim spots around the island. Gorgeous sights and sounds from terrace. Super comfortable bedroom. Will go back to São Miguel literally to stay here. Nice not to navigate the more crowded Ponta Delgada, as this apartment is a bit out of town.

Would have liked a bigger drying rack and ideally a washing machine, but we made it work! Kitchen very small so we mostly ordered take out.

Very modern and nicely furnished! We liked the white, beige and light wooden decorations. The bedroom was fantastic, as well as the bathroom (No odor! Rare in Portugal). The couch was amazing. Beautiful view over the ocean. We also appreciated the flexible check-in (not having to align with the host regarding the our time of arrival.). The check-in is via a door handle code.

We were slightly disappointed by the terrace being quite close to the outside pool because people looked onto the terrace and into our living room from time to time. I felt it was not quite as private as I had imagined it. The living room table and TV setup were not ideal. TV not fully visible from the couch.
