Booked this room because it was under ₹1000. At that price, I expected “budget.” I didn’t expect to become part of the maintenance team. The adventure started the moment we checked in: * The flush had performance anxiety. * The bathroom lights were on vacation. * The AC believed in “room temperature” more than air conditioning. * Half the plug points were just decorative wall art. * The bathroom looked like it had skipped cleaning day. * The bedsheet came with a collection of mysterious stains that I chose not to investigate. To be fair, we informed the reception immediately, and they sent a technician right away. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available, so instead of heading straight to the temple, we waited in the room while repairs were attempted. At least the staff did try to help, and I appreciate that. The only thing that truly lived up to expectations was the price. For under ₹1000, I got accommodation, entertainment, and a live repair show—all included. The hotel has potential, but please spend a little more time (and maybe a little more money) on maintaining the rooms. Working lights, a functional flush, a cooling AC, clean bathrooms, fresh bedsheets, and usable plug points shouldn’t be luxury features. I’d happily stay again if the rooms get the attention they deserve.
