EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT Fantastic location clean and comfortable Very comfortable sofa & sofa bed Nice comfortable table and chairs Well equipped kitchen with comfortable bar stools and breakfast bar Nice big shower room with lovely rainfall shower Main bed very comfortable Loved the blue swivel snug chair Outside space AMAZING lovely views and 1 very friendly horse and 2 very friendly ponies Really good WiFi connection Very quiet and peaceful

It wasn’t an issue for us, but worth knowing it’s remote and up a slope - tricky to get your car up unless you have a 4x4 , but if you’re aware it’s ok take your time to walk up it and pack clever ie things on wheels. We did stay in August so it was nice and dry but could be tricky I imagine in wetter months. But not a complaint just an observation.

The lodge was absolutely amazing with amazing views, I booked this for my partners birthday and was very happy with it the views was amazing and sitting in on the decking at night was so quiet and relaxing just listening to the odd sheep/hores in the background and and the soft breeze blowing through the grass and trees was very relaxing the owners have done a brilliant job with this one.

A dirty cup left on the table when we arrived and the microwave was dirty and the small freezer section was frozen over with previous visitors food still inside

Brilliant location, really tranquil, off the grid kind of stay.

The cleanliness. Put me off making food here. It’s almost like there was a lot of effort put into the build, but not much into retaining it. This would put me off staying again…which is something I read on other reviews but thought people can be nit picky. I don’t actually receive any instructions on finding it, maybe a simple sign but benefit people’s struggles. Drive past the main house, and take your first right up a freshly concreted slope. My 4x4 wouldn’t make it up the bank so we parked at the bottom and just walked up.
