This is a landmark hotel filled with history in the heart of Jerusalem very close to the old city .
The grounds are beautiful. I love the pool area . Also the food is outstanding there . We had amazing meals
Unfortunately this hotel does not seem to be properly managed . Generally arrogant defensive and unhelpful staff. Apart from a couple exceptions. Hard mattresses and pillows . Expected better service given the ranking of the hotel

Location, gravitas, history
Gym designed for 5 people when dozens are expected.
No meaningful internet on sixth floor
For the price breakfast is ok rather than stunning
Rooms not insulated from next room nor from outside noises

Old world charm, historically significant, the location and the pool was extraordinary . Great water pressure in the bathrooms plenty of towels
I don’t know. Little things : the rooms don’t have enough outlets, no iron or shoe horn oh the bathroom floors are slippery .
