Efthalia was, hands down, the best host we had during our entire 14-day trip across Switzerland and Greece. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, she was incredibly sweet, caring, thoughtful, and warm. Before we even asked, she kindly offered to pick us up from the port, which immediately made us feel welcomed and taken care of. When we reached our room, we found a beautiful handwritten note along with sweets and wine because we were on our honeymoon — such a thoughtful and personal gesture. The next morning, we woke up to find a small breakfast bag waiting outside our door, which was another lovely surprise and showed just how much care she puts into making her guests feel special. Even after check-out, Efthalia offered to drop us back at the port. And as if she had not already done enough, she gave us a small honeymoon gift — a cute handmade purse with “Folegandros” written on it. My wife and I were honestly so touched. We completely melted out of pure gratefulness. Her kindness and hospitality were truly out of this world. Even many 5-star hotels could not match the warmth, care, and personal attention we received from Efthalia at Anatoli Hotel. We 120% recommend Anatoli Hotel to anyone visiting Folegandros. This is the kind of place that leaves you smiling and wishing you had stayed longer — we definitely felt that way. Thank you so much, Efthalia. My wife and I absolutely loved your hospitality, and the next time we are ever in Folegandros, we will definitely come back to visit you again. P.S. Thank you for the cute gift. The property is just outside of town and in the perfect spot. Picturesque views of the sea and the landscape. Efthalia dropped around handmade breakfast treats each morning adding an extra special touch.

The view was incredible, the hostess was very sweet and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. She brought homemade jam at the beginning of our stay and dropped off treats from the bakery every morning.

The remote location, while it affords absolute tranquility, can present a logistical challenge without a rental car. This is not a negative but just something for travelers to be aware of.

Extremely friendly and responsive hosts that made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Surprised us with samples of local food and tips about where to eat eat etc. Excellent views and well positioned for privacy and general trips around the island. Several restaurants close by in Ano Meria and only a short drive to local beach. If you are adventurous you can follow a walking trail down to the beach...the climb back is much more demanding!! We loved the place and would definitely stay here again without hesitation. A real gem. Hopefully we can make another trip from Australia in the next few years.

Extremely happy with everything. Small items like a sharp bread knife and perhaps some tea bags would be handy but this comment is not a complaint, rather its intended to enhance the facilities that are available. The host was very responsive and lent us a knife and readily provided what ever we asked for.
