Newly renovated apartment in the very center of Como. Nice for a short-term stay for 1/2 people. Fully equipped kitchen and nice bathroom/closet.
The location: alright, it is very central, but the flat faces an courtyard that is the playground for lots of children during the day (and their lovely footballs they shoot again the walls), as well as teenagers in the evening. The noise was quite bothering.
3rd floor - this was not clear from the booking. Getting my luggage up there without elevator was a hustle.
There was no proper blanket, but only a bedcover.

The apartman is nice, modern and seems to be recently renovated. The location is excellent. However the best experience we had with our host. She was always available, very responsive and very helpful. We could not jost check-in before the official check-in time, but she helped us even after we checked-out from the apartment. Due to an accident all trains were cancelled. Neither taxis or Uber was available. Our host kindly arranged us a shuttle from Como to Chiasso (CH) in 10 mins. Thanks to her we could get a train in Chiasso and arrived home to Zurich with less than 1 hour delay. Without her support we would have stuck in Como for at least 4 hours.
It was only 19 degrees in the apartman when we arrived. The central heating was not yet switched on, but we could use the aircon for heating. The only area where it was still a bit chilly, was the bathroom… but still ok for a quick shower.

- The host is quite responsive.
- the location is great.
- The AC was horrible. It was a proper melting day and night and that was a huge put off.
- No cutleries at all.
- Had to wait for a quite a bit to get the keys.
- No lifts.
