Summer is Back

Had a great stay. Really loved the authentic Portugese neighborhood and the upgrade of bathroom and kitchen.

The apartment is so spacious and clean we were quite surprised. We stay at many rental properties and there is always something missing but here we found everything we needed and more! the kitchen is really well equipped over and above what you would expect even with a slow cooker and air-fryer which was great! The location is very convenient, big super market within 150metres, great bakery and food shop downstairs and a short walk to old town. You really do feel like you are staying like a local in this apartment, it is very residential. Check in and booking process was seamless. The price for the stay was quite cheap so we were very pleasantly surprised with the place in general and will gladly stay again.

to be honest all was great, the only thing we would change next time is to have a longer stay, Lagos is a lovely town and the area is also amazing. you will need some time to see all that is on offer in the area.

Location was excellent. Several beaches are within a half hour walk. The downtown area is a much shorter walk. The host was extremely responsive to questions. Lots of room in the property.

Water pressure of the shower but the rest of the amenities easily makes up for that

Very spacious and clean apartment. There is also a parking space available. Especially appreciated the balcony/terrace seating area with a beautiful view. We enjoyed meals there in comfort. All necessary cooking appliances were avaialble. A large shop was within a walking distance. Our daughter had a separate room, which she certainly appreaciated. The host was attentive and communicated everything in advance. I would certainly recommend it, especially if you travel with your family or friends.

Perhaps the shower pressure was not strong enough. You need to wait for a bit for the water to become hotter. But once the water gets hot then it is quite nice. (I think it might be the whole block/area related issue rather than a particular apartment. Not sure...)
