Lagos Terrace Villa

The appartment was clean and spacious with a large kitchen with good amenities. The location was good- within walking distance to the middle of the town but in a quiet street. Free car parking directly at the gate of the appartment. Very helpful host who gave us great sightseeing recommendations.

Fantastische locatie, centrum op loopafstand, Lagos is een erg leuk stadje. Woning/appartement was netjes en schoon, het was ook compleet ingericht met een fijne keuken. Mooi uitzicht met in de verte de zee.

Bedden waren vrij hard en alleen in de woonkamer een airco die deze ruimte verwarmde. De rest van het huis was vrij koud. Er waren wel elektrische kacheltjes, maar daar kon je er maar een (of hoogstens 2) van aan doen vanwege de wattage. We waren er dan ook in de kerstvakantie, dus niet de warmste periode :)

Starší apartmánový dom, zariadený v harmonickom štýle, relatívne dobrá pozícia, blízko do starého mesta, aj na pláž, aj keď pohodlnejšie autom.

Wifi nemala dosah do jednej izby, ináč rýchle pripojenie. Na wc chýbal ventilátor.

I was looking for an apartment with a pool for our stay in Algarve and unfortunately only realised the day after the cancellation period had passed that this didn’t have one. Despite it being the last place we stayed in a two week Portugal holiday the cancellation period came first 🤷🏼‍♀️I emailed them iexplaining the situation and got bumped around between booking.com and another intermediary. Despite messaging more than 10 times and putting in at least 6 calls to the UK, I still had not heard back from the owner. He finally got in touch and said it was too late to cancel. Had I heard back as soon as I messaged, I’m sure our family holiday would have looked different. The space itself is functional. The hot water in the showers is absolutely dangerous. Going from cold to boiling and nothing between. The beds are old spring style. One is very low to the ground with edges that protrude the matteress which caused a couple of injuries. The towels and bath mats were threadbare. Everything was old and certainly not to a standard I would expect from accommodation at this price. I wish I could say otherwise but functional is the best way to describe this apartment.
