Located in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes and close to the Grand Duchy, this cozy 3-bedroom chalet in Gouvy offers a peaceful retreat for up to 6 guests. It's ideal for nature lovers, with beautiful hiking and biking trails nearby and the scenic Lac de Cherapont just 400 m away. The region is rich in history, dotted with nature reserves and remnants of the past. The chalet features a warm, welcoming living room with a wood-burning fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings. During sunnier days, enjoy meals or a drink outside on the terrace, followed by a relaxed barbecue in the furnished garden. For daily essentials, a SPAR supermarket is just 4 km away in Gouvy. Additional amenities include secure bike storage and a private parking space. Two pets are welcome for a small fee, so your furry companions can join in the fun too. Whether you're after outdoor adventure or quiet comfort, this chalet provides a charming setting for your Ardennes getaway.

Bij aankomst was het even zoeken omdat google ons niet ver genoeg doorstuurde maar op basis van de foto’s vanop internet konden we wel redeneren dat we iets verder moesten. Een korte routebeschrijving vooraf had dit ondervangen. Wel was het huisje lekker warm en lagen er zelfs lekkere cakejes als warm onthaal te wachten! Het huisje is voorzien van alle gemakken. We hebben ‘s avonds heerlijk de haard aangemaakt en de kinderen konden buiten in de sneeuw genieten. Heerlijk! Dankjewel -)

Erg goede informatie vooraf, vriendelijke mail van de verhuurster met praktische informatie. Locatie van het chalet is wat lastig te vinden (routeplanner Waze navigeert naar de camping, chalet ligt zo'n 500 mtr verderop, op een chaletparkje). Bij aankomst was de deur (zoals aangegeven in de mail) al open, verlichting brandde al en de verwarming stond al aan. Geweldige ontvangst! ) Het chalet zelf is zeer netjes, ruim genoeg (voor in ieder geval 5 personen) en geeft echt een vakantiegevoel. Er was voldoende hout voor de open haard aanwezig en ook lucifers en aanmaakblokjes ontbraken niet. SPAR Gouvy is op zo'n 5 minuten afstand rijden, winkelcentrum Knauf in Luxemburg is 10 minuten rijden. De ligging aan de doorgaande weg is totaal niet storend. Al met al een prima lang weekend door gebracht!

Net en schoon huisje. Lekker rustige locatie met privacy tuin. Matrassen ouderslaapkamer zijn niet geweldig en alleen een dvd speler met franse films. Verder alles top en goed geregeld.
