We booked a table for dinner on the night of our arrival and even though we were late flying in to Rome, they kept the restaurant open for just us and there was no rush to finish our meal. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent with several choices. The staff were very friendly and attentive even though it seemed like we were the only ones there.
There was nothing to dislike about this place apart from we were there in the winter so were unable to experience the pool.

The room was big and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, with hot and cold options. The fresh croissants and the scrambled eggs were particularly good. The bathroom was well equipped, it took a while for hot water to come out of the shower, but other than that, it had everything we needed. The spa was very nice and it was great to be able to have exclusive access. Spa facilities were nice and clean and relaxing. The pool was pleasant and we enjoyed a nice day relaxing by the pool. I would recommend this hotel if you're the sort of person who likes to be left alone, it was difficult to track down staff at times if we needed anything, and we were very much left to ourselves, which sometimes was nice, sometimes slightly frustrating. Some reviews have said it is impossible to walk anywhere. We found it was possible to walk to the castle (about 25 minutes) and to the lake (about 45 minutes) some of the roads were without pavements, so you just needed to take a little extra care, but it was perfectly possible to stay without a car and access the local attractions. We were also given three taxi numbers on arrival, we only ever had to call the first two and never made it to the third on the list, as one of the first two numbers always had a car available.
The restaurant opening hours were unpredictable, we asked if we could eat there the evening we arrived, after a long flight and journey from the airport, only to find that it wasn't open on a Monday or Tuesday, which wasn't clearly advertised, so we had to take a taxi elsewhere to find somewhere for dinner. However, we were given a recommendation for where to go and had a nice meal there and perhaps it was our fault for not requesting to book in advance of our stay. We tried to book another night in the hotel restaurant, this time in advance, but were told that it was closed again, so we made other arrangements. We were later told we could eat at the restaurant, but by then we had planned our day and the time we were offered to eat was too early for us. We requested tennis equipment on one day but this never materialised so we were unable to make use of the tennis court. There was a fridge in the room which was stocked with bottled water but nothing else, not much of a mini bar. There were tea and coffee making facilities, but no milk for us Brits who like milk in our tea! Even though there were three of us staying in the room, a lot of things only catered to two guests - two mugs for tea/coffee, two bottles of still and two bottles of sparkling water in the fridge, etc.
