Welcome to your perfect year-round escape in the heart of Massanutten Resort! Nestled among the trees in our privately owned spacious three bedroom, two bathroom home blends comfort, fun, and unbeatable access to the best of the resort, just steps from the slopes and tubing hill on Massanutten’s only ski-out street.
Upstairs, you’ll find two comfy bedrooms, a full bath, and a convenient washer and dryer. Downstairs features an open-concept living and dining area, a fully stocked kitchen, and the primary suite with a full bath. Both the dining room and the primary bedroom open onto a back deck with a beautiful view, perfect for grilling, outdoor dining, watching the deer or simply relaxing in the mountain air.
When it’s time for fun, we have plenty to do in our house! Challenge friends to the stand-up arcade game, play a round of ping-pong with the portable set or a round of games with the board games we provide.
Beyond the door, adventure awaits you in every season. In winter, ski and tube just steps away. In warmer months, enjoy hiking, golf, zip-lining, mountain biking, mountain coaster, horseback riding, go-karts, mini-golf, and the resort’s incredible indoor water park. The scenic Shenandoah River is just 5 miles away and is ideal for kayaking, tubing, or fishing.

I highly recommend this Massanutten vacation rental (10/10)! Our hosts, Mary and Chris, communicated beautifully and made the check-in process incredibly smooth, quick, and easy. The property's decor and aesthetics are gorgeous, and we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out by the outdoor fire pit. You can even see the new rollercoaster at the Massanutten Family Adventure Park right from the back balcony! Just a quick tip for future guests: the property is high up on the mountain, so be prepared for your ears to pop on the drive to and from the property, but the incredible views and location are entirely worth it.

The property has a lot of potential and is in a convenient location within the Massanutten Resort. The host was extremely kind and responsive, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about her guests — her attentiveness went a long way in making our stay more comfortable. The home has a fully stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking essentials, which was greatly appreciated.That said, we did encounter several maintenance concerns. The carpet and interior doors showed significant wear, the upstairs bathroom sink leaked and there was a plastic bowl under it to catch the water. However there was a hairdryer stored beneath that sink that was actually wet making it dangerous to use. There was visible brown mold on the bathroom ceiling and visible spackle jobs on the wall that were painted a color that didn’t match the bathroom. There was a large stone on the fireplace hearth wasn’t fully secure as the structure itself didn’t support it. Several electrical and lighting features were difficult to use or not functioning properly, and the air conditioning vents were extremely worn and in need of replacement. Additionally, an abundance of wires from the TV setup created both an eyesore and potential safety concern. While the home’s modern decor to improve the appearance are well done - the basic necessities need professional attention. There is certainly a lot of potential in the home and we do wish the owners all the best with their property.
