Holiday Surf and Racquet Club is located directly on the beach in exclusive Holiday Isle, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. Amenities featured are the seasonally heated pool, 2 lighted tennis courts, BBQ grilling area, shuffleboard, exercise rooms and saunas. There is free wifi in the lobby and pool areas. There are also coin operated Laundry facilities. Once you stay in Holiday Isle, you'll want to come back year after year!

Temporary structures, including, but not limited to, towed house trailers, houseboats, tents, or temporary structures of any kind are prohibited on Holiday Isle, except to the extent set forth herein. Umbrellas are permitted on the beaches in a manner consistent with these Covenants provided that their use is in compliance with state and local laws and regulations. Set up of umbrellas can occur only after beach cleaning has been completed. Umbrellas shall not exceed 8 feet in diameter.

If you haven't been to Holiday Isle, you're in for a treat. It's a serene, little oasis in the middle of Destin, with 2 and a half miles of paved trails for walking and biking, surrounded by quiet neighborhoods perfect for exploring on a bike. It's just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, boat docks, fishing, golf, and amusements.
An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor.
Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. The property was neat, clean and modern. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. We were very comfortable. The rental office was very helpful and called me several times during the week to check on us. I highly recommend this condo.

This unit appealed to my husband and I as it is updated and upon first glance had the amenities we were looking for. Unfortunately, some key things were problematic. The floors turned my husbands feet gray; they should have been mopped. The drain stop in the guest bathroom did not work, which made giving our 4 year old son a bath difficult. The stove is a glass cooktop, which requires special pans, and there were none to use. We ended up buying a griddle to use to cook breakfast.
We found the beds to be comfortable and the unit to be nicely decorated, and there was plenty of storage space, but unless the items above are addressed, we won’t be back to this unit. We have stayed at 2 other units at this property and would choose to go back to one of those first.
Also note that beach access is not complementary and costs $40 with this rental and needs to be paid separately.
