Although we only stayed one day, we really enjoyed staying in a clean and cozy place! Check in was very easy and the town of Ouray is just breathtaking. We will be back!

We would not stay at this property again. The porch did have an amazing view, and we really enjoyed our time sitting outside, staring at the amphitheater. However, the furniture outside was not comfortable at all. As far as cleanliness, the tools to the grill had been used and not cleaned. There were dead bugs around all the windows, and the fans were dirty and most likely throwing dust into the air. This is on us, but we did not realize there would not be air-conditioning and it was brutally hot that week. It was very uncomfortable the first night, especially. We also brought dogs, which we really appreciated the property accommodating; however, the stairs leading up to the unit were steep and like a fire escape, and our dogs were terrified to go up and down for three days and three nights.
We have stayed at rentals for almost a decade now and I’m surprised this unit has a 4.9 rating. It’s fine and I think for some people who don’t need much it’s going to bean adequate stay. I would have preferred something with more comfortable outside, seating, air conditioning, more updated Appliances and kitchen tools, and less of a hike up and down the stairs. For what we paid, I would have expected more.
