Hostel Leblon

Staff are quite nice especially Marco Antonio, they should learn from him and what it is to be a proper host.

Hygiene is almost inexistente. There can be literally a clogged toilet for days without anybody caring. And the price is not on par with the hostel, severely overpriced.

Great Staff, One block away from Leblon Beach. 2nd best of 6 hostels I stayed at in LeBlon. Samantha was cute. Carlos was super helpful. Fridge, microwave, a place to dry my clothes. Bathrooms were good. Great Burger at Hell's Burgers in the Leblon Shopping Complex. The Hostel's restaurant was great too, and the discount made it the best option in the neighborhood. The filet de frango and file Mignon were outstanding. The biggest room was the best. Balcony right over the restaurant! good lockers, curtains, good space.

but only the upstairs bathrooms had hot water that I could get to work. the mattresses were a bit thin.

Great location, great restaurant downstairs! Samantha and Carlos were very helpful in navigating Rio! The hostel is only a block away from leblon beach. The Wi-Fi was good and the showers upstairs were hot. Carlos went above and beyond by showing me places near the hostel to get an adapter so my devices would work! The mall nearby has a great burger place called Hell's burgers! It's the best burger that I've eaten in South America! The beds have plenty of space and curtains! The 10-bed room had a fantastic balcony!

I could not get the showers downstairs to have hot water, but they were working on that issue when I was leaving.

Location an the receptionists are nice and friendly. Gabriel and Raphael are super nice.

The manager pressure and restrictions. I wasnt told I couldn’t leave our luggage after 4pm or even use the bathroom. I didn’t feel welcome by those restrictions and pressure. They have a deposit fee of 50 bucks (with limited options of payment only credit or cash)for no reason in my opinion since the place has not a big structure.
