Fabulous place to stay

The property was clean & comfortable & had everything we needed. It was dog friendly with a secure garden. We loved the chickens, the lovely rural location &, for us, the fact it was located midway between our family members. There was also a very dog friendly pub a short walk away. The owner couldn't have been nicer too.

Pleasant one night stay

Tucked down a small country lane you’re not at risk of hearing the A1 despite it only being a few minutes down the road. Close by to a very nice restaurant Wentbridge House. Sarah was very warm welcoming and the household pets said hello too ! Off street parking always handy also.

Thé wifi did work but a little slow and had to be in bed to use it.

Lovely location and very clean but no good for longer than one or two nights. Wouldn’t stay for longer

Really lovely location and very convenient. We took our two dogs one only 5months and it was very secure we could let them out freely in the back garden. The property was very clean and beautifully presented.

There wasn’t anywhere to hang any clothing coats or otherwise, easily rectified with some wall hooks/over door hooks. There was nowhere to sit comfortably only the bed. It looked as if there was an adjacent room, which was looked. Shame it wasn’t opened to be used. The WiFi signal was terrible, no TV (which we knew) so had to try and stream and it wasn’t possible.

A restful stay in a peaceful location.

A comfortable stable conversion in a rural location offers a kitchenette and en suite bathroom. Guests also have the use of table and chairs on the adjoining patio shared with the host Sarah, who lives in the house nearby. Sarah communicated useful information about accessing the property and was a friendly and informative host. The setting is peaceful, looking out over adjoining fields.

Perfect relaxing break

Everything, it was just perfect for a relaxing break. The host was so very welcoming and the peace and the views were amazing. We asked to stay another night but it was booked, obviously! Cannot wait to go back.

great little place to stay with the dog. beautiful decor and lots of lovely little additions. gorgeous surroundings and very dog friendly. great host!

parking space was abit tricky. it was nice not to have a TV but the board games were for mostly 4 players so not great for 2 people! but overall can’t fault the space and host

Comfortable, private in a lovely location. Our host was fantastic and will definitely be rebooking in the future.

Despite the fantastic location I did initially struggle to find the stable, a sign on the road would be useful. But still 10 out of 10 accommodation.

It was easy to find, there’s a lovely pub (fox and hounds) a five minute walk away. The views are outstanding and the owner and her little dogs are so welcoming. The stable is gorgeous so homey and comfortable you literally have everything you need and more. Will definitely be staying again

Scenery Decoration of room Friendly host Friendly neighbours Nice walks. Nice coffee, array of tea bags and a jug of fresh milk. Bedding smelt lovely. Cupboard full of board games Library of books Local bluebell Inn do a really nice carvery. Lots of crystals and nods towards homeopathic interests Peaceful and relaxing With twinkly lights.

No television for evening time Could do with a fan as it gets really warm. A comfy chair to sit on as we tended to sit on the bed. Somewhere to hang clothes. Neighbours working dog was barking during night and early morning....not sure anything can be done. Chickens and cats in the shared garden, no good for our boisterous 30kg, teenager of a lab whom likes to chase anything so it tends to turn into a carry on movie as I'm being dragged behind her in full gallop! Lovely room, I'm guessing it was a therapy workshop prior to this, but outside of that it just feels a little unloved ie the garden, garden furniture.

Quiet area, beautiful room, fantastic host, amazing view from the house, large beautiful garden.

The exhaust fan in the shower room might be just a bit noisy for light sleepers like my husband. I personally didn't mind it though.

Nothing of note. Doesn’t have a TV but it is promoted as a space to relax away from the chaos and demands of life. WiFi allows you to watch TV on your lap top if you wish.
