Heater would not stop blowing hot air, got too hot, had to shut it off. Then got cold, hot, then cold, hot, then cold

Will NOT stay there again.

The manager is rude. The hotel charged me for the room after I had already paid on booking.com, and they refuse to let me speak to the supervisor or owner.

Will not stay again cause the hot breakfast was terrible. Not Best Western Standard.

Location close to Walmart and restaurants

Breakfast was not up to Best Western standards. Food was not taken care of, just put in containers and left. The gravy was an ugly brown instead of a light cream color, potato were under cooked and eggs must had been powered cause it was one big blob. I was there 45 mins before I saw anyone to come and look at the hot food to see if they needed to be stir it. The yogurt machine and the waffle machine was the only thing that was worth eating.

Clean and pleasant of you need to stop in Brownwood.

They accommodated a late check-in and had a large well-lit, fenced-in parking lot in back for our two vehicles both pulling trailers.

The location was convenient.

The property was clearly renovated- and done sloppily. Everything was at least okay until the morning when I awoke to bugs- specifically earwigs- in the bed. Then there was little flying beetles in the bathroom.

Convenient Spot in Brownwood for an Overnight Stay

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of Brownwood. The hotel staff is friendly and the rooms are reasonably priced. The bed was a bit hard for my liking, but it was fine for one night.

Comfortable

It was very nice and comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and recommend staying here for comfortable beds cleanliness. The breakfast was good.

I didn’t like that I asked for late checkout and I was told I could check out at a certain time and I paid $25 for that time only to be called back saying that the time was no good and I had to check out 45 minutes earlier because a wedding was scheduled to stay in my room specifically.

Third room was a charm.

The room was spacious and comfortable.

We reserved a King room. We were given a key to a King room and walked in to our room only to find someone was already in our room. We went back to the front desk and were told they did not have anymore King rooms. We were given a Double Queen room. Not what we reserved, but we were okay with it. We got unpacked and then realized the TV did not work. The front desk came and rebooted the TV and it worked for about 5 minutes and then no more. We went back to the front desk and asked for our 3rd room. We were told they resolved the previous King room issue and found us a King room. The room was find, but we could have done without the extended tour of the hotel.

Would gladly stay again!!

The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and cool. Loved the fact that the check out time was noon. The breakfast was way more than expectations for a free breakfast. If we are ever back in the area we will be returning.

The only problem we had was the bed was softer than we are used to but definitely not a complaint. If you enjoy soft fluffy beds this place is perfect.

Horrible

Just ok

Because of the heat and dryness outside we had crickets in our ground floor room. I killed more than a dozen the 1st night. After attending a funeral we came back to the room and there were a number of crickets in the tub and elsewhere in the room. So we didn't stay the 2nd night even though I had paid for it. I had told the front desk clerk about the issue but nothing had been done to resolve the issue.

Good

I love the set up of the room, the little kitchenette area, the two tvs and especially love the window shades that block the morning light. The bathroom lighting is awesome too.

The only problem is the bath tub faucets. Plastic parts in faucets cause problems turning tub on and off. Also hard to control hot and cold water due to disfunctional single handle. We stayed several months ago and my husband had to turn water on and off for me so i could shower. This last stay, we couldn’t turn hot water off. They had to call a plumber. It ran for hours!!!
