"Les Antilles " Héhergement chez l'habitant

Very friendly hostess! We talked a bit in German and (my broken) French. You can gaze at the sea in the distance from the balcony. The beach is right down the little alleyway where the property is located. Pointe Rouge also looks neat and lovely. Right next to the Calanques. On days outside of heatwaves, they are right there to go hiking (but bring water!). All in all perfect for people who seek peace of mind and lovely conversation with kind and wise "strangers". Oh and AC. I switched hotels last minute because my hotel in the city had no AC. Unbearable in peak summer. Of course, Mme. Schmitt has AC. 10/10, what more can I say. Best decision of my whole trip throughout Europe! Only a bit sad that I could not stay longer and had to go back home.

That I didn't discover this place sooner!

It's a room in the flat of a nice older lady, who is a sport's fan :) Apartment location is quite far from the city center, but in my opinion this is a plus. It's really close to the beach and Calanque National Park. There are also some restaurants and shops near the apartment. From the room there is an access to the balcoon with a nice view where we could eat something by the table. Kitchen and bathroom are available too (they are not private, but there was no problem with that). Stuff in the apartment wasn't new, but it was clean. Mrs Schmitt (the owner) let us also to leave the luggage for few hours after the check-out, so we could use the day before our flight. The price was also good compared to the other places.

Please note, that check-in hours are not negotiable. If your flight is really late, you can't check-in at night. However there was no problem to shorten the reservation by one day and get the money back for this day. Transport in this city at night almost doesn't exist anyway. Actually I would give even 9 points instead of 8, but for me personally it was a bit too hot at night (air conditioning was turned off atound midnight). This is the only thing I didn't like, but I'm from Poland and I'm not used to such temperatures. Generally I'm happy that I've chosen this place to stay and I can recommend it to the others.

La proximité du stade vélodrome, notamment en bus. Un parking privé et sécurisé.

Nous avions accès à une chambre avec salle de bain et toilettes, mais nous n’avions pas été informé que les toilettes et la salle de bain étaient communes donc pas très propre.
