About this apartment rental
The Shores of Madeira #501 - Please note that due to our 2024 hurricane season, there is no pool, hot tub or patio at this time at The Shores of Madeira. It is likely the pool will not be open until Summer 2026. In addition, there is no direct beach access from the property. There is public beach access however on the south edge of the property. Construction is ongoing on the property as repairs are made.
This condo association requires the formality of background check & application approval. Approval timelines can vary and we’re unable to guarantee a faster turnaround than 30 days before arrival. This includes providing social security numbers for all guests and also photos of driver's licenses. Please note that lost fobs will incur a replacement fee of $250, or the withholding of the equal security deposit, depending on the method of booking.

Full kitchen, Master bedroom has a king with en-suite bath and guest bedroom has two single beds. Both baths have been recently updated.

Per the Association Rules and Regulations, smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property except in a private unit. SunHost allows smoking on the private balcony but smoking is not allowed inside this condominium. Large beach side pool and hot tub. Complex also has a large common room on the ground level that opens out to pool and patio area. The covered common area includes a bbq grill, kitchenette and a lending library. Out side there are two additional large BBQ grills. A little over 1.5 miles from John's Pass Village keeps you away from the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to get to. Walk to Supermarket, drug store, post office, restaurants and pubs in the immediate neighborhood.
When staying in a SunHost unit you will also have access to 7 day a week office staff, office services (copying, print boarding passes etc.) We also have maintenance available 7 days a week if you experience any issues at the property and an after hours emergency on call person.
The Pass is a quaint turn-of-the-century fishing village and Pinellas County's #1 tourist attraction. The Village has over one hundred unique shops, a variety of restaurants, the local fishing fleet, dolphin watching and shelling tours, boat rentals, parasailing and jet skiing. Best of all as a SunHost customer you can walk to this great entertainment destination. Anchor tenants include Bubba Gumps, Hooters and Hubbards Marina and also world famous Bamboo Beer Garden. Location of complex and condo is excellent. beautiful views. condo is in need of new couches and another tv or 2. Kitchen is in need of more utensils and plates. Master bath needs remodel, too. Shower curtain was a liner.

Such a perfect spot on the beach! Plenty to do. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Just minutes from Johns Pass and oh the sunsets on the beach are the perfect end to an amazing day!

Our overall stay was very good. The condo is in a great location in Madeira and on the beach. The complex is very well maintained and safe.The condo was clean. The bedding in the master has an old comforter that cannot be easily laundered. Quilt bedding is always preferred. Master bath only has plastic liner and no shower curtain. Guest bedroom and bath is very nice. No TVs in bedrooms. Kitchen is well stocked, needs more serving bowls. Needs a toaster, toaster oven is old, outdated. The hide a bed sofa and smaller couch in living area qre old and not in good condition. The rest of living furniture is good. South and West patio is fabulous, as is the view. Internet is spotty in master, otherwise great. Pool area is fabulous.Sun host provided excellent service, check in and out.
